We used to set off on Friday afternoon and get as far south as possible (Lyon) and stay overnite. Get up at your leisure and be up in the resort before lunch time thus avoiding the afternoon traffic. Get your lift pass sorted and get out on the empty slopes. On the way back set off early (7am) again avoiding the traffic.

Just use your brains – somehow the body is mapped onto your feet – what a load of nonsense. It may have a placebo effect but I wouldn’t take much notice of any of the above anecdotal evidence.

If your bike box is in an open trailer and it’s chucking it down with rain a cardboard box won’t last long – seen it happen – not mine thankfully but I never used one again after that.
