My plumber used copper for most of the house but plastic for aesthetic reasons to some radiators.

Panasonic, I've had mine for nearly 4 yrs and use 4 times week, excellent product and the pizza dough is the finest pizza base I've ever had.

I do handbake too but fresh bread ready for when you wake up? You're worth it!

I'd think hard about the colour too, cappuccino is a funny colour and has been around for a while now. I agonised for months! Good luck!

I had new kitchen in '07, dark purple glossy minimal cupboard fronts, no handles etc and the kickboards and trims are brushed aluminium/steel and it looks fantastic. Matches the appliances too. Teamed it with chunky oak 'floating' shelves and bar and grey veined stone worktop. I'm told it's got the 'wow' factor.

surfer : they didn't say anything, all at primary at the time and we filled out the form and had the holiday authorised. You are allowed to take them out of school for 2 weeks holiday in North Yorks if you fill in the official form. I did emphasise that it was an educational holiday, learning how to ski and learn French! However, this year we've booked and will have to take one out of High School for 4 days as the school hols that our chums have are different to ours.

I empathise with the buddy situation, lots of our chums are teachers so we don't go with them, just another bunch (mountain biking and climbing lot).

Contact me if you need to know anything else 🙂 The kids'll be hooked so be prepared to do it every year!

My lot, 3 kids and both of us have skiied at Flaine for 3 out of the last 4 years, the other resort we went to was La Plagne. Ski from the door and the ski school meeting place right outside the hotel. We went with http://www.crystalski.co.uk half board and the hotels were satisfactory and child friendly, mostly run by gap year students. There are 2 ski schools in Flaine, ESF and International and we have used both and had no problems. They tend to see how the kids ski on the first day then rearrange the groups into abilities the following day. The language difference hasn't been a problem with the instructors and they are good fun. You can book lessons at the resort for less than a week (6days) as that's what I did to learn. Not sure if you can do this online tho but I'm sure you can. Spouse is taking 2 of the brood to Chamonix end of March but they won't be having lessons this time and I think the logistics for accessing lessons near to accommodation are more difficult at Cham, Argentiers

We have always taken ours out of school and not had a problem.

I go dog walking with a chum that has one. She's great but completely independent and if she fancies doing something that she shouldn't my chum hasn't a hope of her obeying. A bossy dog (bitch) and keeps the 2 dogs she walks with lower down in the pack order. Loves to run, off!

I was conceived in the winter of '63, parents had to do something to keep warm I s'pose. Anyone else had similar experience?

'Open' surely relates to a 2-way relationship of openness? What if one half of the relationship doesn't want/can't do sex but understands that the OH needs it and can only get it elsewhere. Some people think that no sex means end of marriage/relationship.

I don't know otherwise personally btw, but come across unusual scenarios in line of duty.

Let me throw this in to further (or stop) the debate. If a married couple are celibate but one of them is healthy enough to want/need rumpypumpy, would it be ok to seek it outside marriage? Seperation can't happen due to kids, so furthering Buzzlightyears question and superstar opponents.

I'd go down the route of having a quick word with neighbour first as the RSPCA route can be incendiary between folk you live close to. I think for the sake of a bowl of water keep it low key.

Get some wasp killer from local DIY store and zap 'em through the opening. Quick solution. Then examine the nest, they are amazing structures.

Sounds great, but purely from a personal perspective and my advancing years giving demands on my time ie, kids, then weekends are best for me and my buddies. I couldn't get a passout for 5 days but weekends away are do-able.

Sounds like buggies have moved up several notches and my youngest is only 8 but if anyone needs a Mclaren double buggy (not with footmuff stuff) they are welcome to come and pick it up. It's mainly blue with yellow trim so not too gay. Spouse would love it to go, thinks I'm hanging on to it for sentimental reasons.

I've use a couple of Stella pans on my induction, so far so good but they are only 18months old. Pricey tho so they'd better last.

Thanks Foxy! I was on similar plan good few years ago and lost loads but had to eat carbs but as few as I could get away with to make my brain work. Really, it's healthy eating (eat mostly protein and your body will burn fat as protein will only be utilised as energy source when the fat stores have been depleted) and regular exercise but not in a gym, walking and biking when weather permits. No processed food and smaller portions.

Eck, I'm going to have to get used to this all again now I'm signed up to 18bikes fat club. Got to get fit for my plans this year, lots of races to do, soo little time.

Lived there for a while and near by for 6 yrs and was frequent visitor. It's a great place with an interesting cross-section of society. Lots of literary folk and has good pub, The Blacks Head (unless it's been forced to change to something PC) , good market and the high school's not bad. There used to be a fab Italian restaurant too, home cooked by a couple and The Bear was a great pub at Alderwasley. Ians Barbers is an institution! Excellent pubs at Brassington and Kirk Ireton, The Hollybush is also excellent at Milford but that's near Belper.
Great biking on your doorstep for many abilities and Carsington Water for child based activity. 30mins and you're in the Peak and all it's biking offerings.

Pendle here too and the lighting board is integral. You don't need a complicated towbar either, just a single power point.

My eldest and Spouse share the same first name but both are known by their second name. Family trad made us give the eldest boy's first name Thomas but the middle name is the calling name and they are different. My 2 boys have the same letter of their calling names, ie, J so yes we expect some confusion at some point but we'll ride it out. The only confusion we've had so far is from GP and school computers calling my eldest and Spouse Thomas, but then we can be smug in correcting!
