My training mileage didn’t extend beyond 45m. But I did at least 20 every day nearly for several weeks prior. Set of at 7am, break every day into 20m and rest, eat. Painkillers essential and butt cream have got me this far.

Well, we’ve reached the half-way stage! Can’t believe it but we’ve cycled from Lands End to home in Skipton 😀 Had good weather so far and got fitter. It’s been a beautiful ride through some lovely countryside.
So it’s off to Carlisle tomorrow and on to Scotland….

‘Cos I’m very slow and have to pack emergency rations potentially for overnight. Cake etc…. Wouldn’t all fit in a pocket.

I’d go and see your Health Visitor first to have him assessed, weight and height wise. Have you taken him shopping, let him choose food he fancies and involve him in preparation, have his friends around and he’ll see what other kids eat. Do you give him vitamin gummy tablets? Does he have any health issues, frequent colds etc? I’ve had similar issues with my third, he’s 9, didn’t want to wean and I had to breastfeed for 16months. I only provide 1 meal for everyone so if he doesn’t eat, it’s tough.
