Gotta say, I have been waiting for this to arrive and for pics to be posted.
I reckon you got an absolute steal there and a decent sorted spec at that!

I just today took my new plus bike out running 2.8″ NNs both ends today and at 120KG too felt they did exceptionally better than other reviews give them credit for, I rode today over wet rocks / gritty sand type surface.

So are those rims 40mm external or internal and what psi you running as I settled on 18f and 20r just to be on safe side.

    Also how heavy complete bike?

Watches thread with interest as found this on my first ride with a new set of rsc.

Not as powerful as my original rsc with 160mm on hardtail even though today I rode the upgraded rsc with 180mm rotors on my full suss.
Maybe I’ll give them bedding in time…?

Not sure but Bos do some really really good 180mm idylls sc forks which supersede the excellent ndees.

Unsure if they’ll fit 650b but definitely worthy of a try.

I’ve just bought a bike that came fitted with modern pikes and 2.8″ NNs that are 15x110mm and are torque cap compatible. Mine are 140s but can be converted to lower travel.
I’m guessing that they are the boost format being the extra 10mm width between legs…?

I really am hoping these will radically change my view on RS on their maiden’ish voyage tomorrow.

They certainly feel stiff enough doing car park test and feel reasonably buttery.

I echo what others have clearly mentioned about stiffness and especially what mindmap3 says.

Plus if you find a set of great feeling in measurements alloy bar, that I personally would prefer over carbon anyday.

I was impressed by my enve bars but only because £90 odd was the most I’d ever spent so justification of my purchase came into play there and guess what they were far too stiff and I wouldn’t want to crash on carbon bars if I were to crash.

Invest in a decent set of comfy grips and nicely angled alloy bars and you’ll be much better off for it. ;)

May one highly recommend looking at Surly Dirt Wizards (120tpi version) as I was fairly impressed running them on 50mm rims.

That’s if sizing and clearamce allows…

Having listened to OK Computer and realising Radiohead are depressing to then seeing them mesmerise the crowd at Glastonbury truly stunned me.

They have stayed true and have a loyal following for that.

Oh and to top it off Phil Selway is a top bloke!
