As said just report it to your CC provider. Remember to say the card has always been in your possession and your pin number is not written down or been shared with anyone else.
You’ll get a form with all your cc transactions, identify those which aren’t yours and you’ll get your money back. I’ve been to through it a couple of times, all sorted without any problems.

It’s supposed to stay in place or the threads fill up with dirt. Same principal as dust caps on square taper cranks.

I’ve got a 15yr old tin of Salmon in my cupboard, couldn’t care less about the calories, just wether it’ll kill me or not.

If you’d said hard tail or lightweight trail/xc F/S I’d have said F/S. But you’d probably have more fun on more of the trail with your hard tail.

I’d imagine he’d forgotten to turn it on or the battery was flat, he then made a little joke. I know plenty of people who are so dry you can’t tell if their being serious or not. Me being one of them !

I know of Shurter but wouldn’t recognise him in the street. I don’t think outside of the sport any mtb riders are famous.

Aye, wouldn’t make a habbit out of it.

If you find you need to release the air from the negative chamber more than occasionally they’ll need looking at/service.

Felt for everyone single speeding today. Had a 25mph maximum on the beach first lap, the boys at the front must have got upto 30 mph :O great event, probably one of the best I’ve done 🙂

Is it a Celtic/Rangers thing ? I reckon the whole buisness with those two teams is madness, but I understand how the wrong kit could be inappropriate.

Just a comment regarding the potential dangers. In 25yrs driving a cab in Cardiff I’ve never been physically assaulted, robbed or threatened with a weapon of any sort. All of those things can happen, but I used to get more trouble working in a LBS with people returning inner tubes they’d pinched fitting claiming they were faulty ( one guy over the counter punching me ).

I’d flag him just on the principle that he doesn’t use his proper name. What you hiding Jp ?

I think the op’s problem is that his lbs aren’t offering the option of a £25/30 BB but only seem to be able to offer a £50 item.

Mid 50’s here, definitely believe in hard rides keeps fitness up as you get older. I ride 3/4 times a week and get bored just pootling. I enjoy pushing on and going into the red at some point more or less every ride. Can’t see there’s been much change in my performance’s over the last 10yrs 😀

It might be an “option” but the future no. Choice is generally a good thing but I wont be buying.

Doesn’t an apprenticeship these days lead to a formal qualification ? Time in college ect. If you want a good reliable lad to help out and train up on the job, well in my experience don’t over pay but the less you pay the less you get.

Your still doing it junkyard. Stand back give the man some room, see where things go. He can’t hurt you his days if being the big bad wolf are over.

I sort of agree with spxxy, this same old over the top Lance hatred over and over and over again !! Can’t you just join another mob and hate someone new. We all know his crimes and how he treated people, but he’s banned from competitive cycling for life, as it stands at the moment. How he reconciles himself with those he harmed is between themselves. No one on here has been harmed by him I’m sure. Many might have benefited from cycling’s massively increased popularity, at least partly fuelled by his high profile. If he can rehabilitate himself through charity work on or off a bike I say it’s a good thing. At the very least, stand back a bit, see how things go. People can change maybe he will, maybe he won’t but EVERYONE should be given the opportunity to try.

I doubt it’s part of their general remit. They might offer some form of first aid in an emergency but would probably direct you to the local A/E.

Amazing how should you take your dog to a trail centre ( no imho ) brings out the dog hating crazies 😯
For what its worth the reasonable in “reasonable apprehension” is what the court considers reasonable. Not what someone with a hatred/ fear of dogs ( some of you ! ) might think is reasonable. From a chat with my local copper the bar is pretty high.

Your potential earnings vary greatly depending on which licensing authority you work in. In Cardiff your looking at the “living wage” sort of thing. Everyone in Cardiff is self employed, no companies actually employ drivers they act as booking agencies, you pay them a flat fee every week, that and all your other bills mean as an owner driver you have to earn £250-300 a weak before you get into profit. If you rent a vehicle that might go up to £350 !! I wouldn’t recommend it unless complete flexibility in your working hours is important ( it is to me ) If you want any more info drop me an email and I’ll try and answer any questions you might have.

And let’s be honest “around £50”, will probably be £65 or something!

Good call, available for pre order £59.99+ £3.99 p/p.

I sold a frame twice once. The original sale went cold so I sold it to someone else. Next thing I know the original buyer out of the blue pays me via paypal. Its just people and lack of communication, it can happen.

This follows news of a bit of singletrack in Castle Woods getting gravelled – not something I disagree with in this case but you never know when your favourite local trail might get the sanitization treatment?

    “Dogger dodging” gone forever 😥

I’ve never heard if one. What would the purpose of such an association be anyway. Private land aside there doesn’t seem to be a problem riding more or less anywhere in S.Wales ?

I wouldn’t mention the question you asked on here to the breeder, not if you want the puppy that is available to you anyway. Amazingly arrogant thinking you should be able to jump the picking que because your a “cash” buyer.

big lads always make bikes look small, I know because pics of me on a bike can look strange 😯 You’ve got proper leg extension, and looking at the seat in relation to the handle bars I’d say it’s spot on.
Not sure about a 50mm stem though a 75-80mm would give you more room.

If the driver had fed the meter and you’d have reimbursed him the money, and he knew that was company policy then he pays the fine. If you don’t pay for parking charges as necessary then the company should pay the fine. If I was a delivery driver and couldn’t park legally and the company didn’t pay fines I’d just bring the load back to the depot. Would that work for you ?

I’d imagine the route will be tracks and paths, nothing to rough. Deff go with x/c tyres maybe even a semi slick. You can lock out the suspension front and rear on the Spectral ? if so I’d happily ride one.

I call bull. The op reckons he’s had funny looks 🙄 and no roadie is going to make a negative comment about a faster riders gear !! Thier more likely to think “will I be as fast if I get one” . Honestly no one out on the road could careless how you carry a drink.

    taxi25

It is moving up from 9 gears to 30 which must be faster, right?

More than three times faster I’d say 😀

When you say lease a road bike, is that the same as renting one for a short period of time ? If you had a hard tail slicks would be fine. Maybe not so much fun if you’ve got a heavyish full sus.

Just looked at the Swanky web site, don’t see much point in leasing a bike you’ll pay 65% of rrp and have to give the bike back. Just buy a cheap s/h road bike and sell it on if you decide not to keep it.
