Yep friday for me, work on monday.

Pretty sore here. The doc struggled with the right plum. The best bit was when he announced that “You may smell something like cooking bacon.” As he did the quarterising.

About 45 mins all in – oh you still have a reserve tank inside you that requires regular emptying.

As i found out when i got a letter after my first test saying i needed “to use it more”. Used it as ammo for the missus.

    Literally…….

For me its got to be smooth either skippy or m and s own as they are nice and creamy, three fresh thick white slices. Plenty of flora with plenty of peanut butter washed down with a pint of milk.

    Lovely!!!

    Great post by binners.

Recently experienced this in a Hove restarant. All the 40 something champagne socialists were sitting there in their cords and loafers ignoring Oscar and Tarquin with their long poncy hair run riot and generally ruin it for everyone else.

    Grrrrrrrr!!!

Aged 17 rugby tour to Holland, got hold of a bottle of Malibu, ran down a corridor slightly off and bashed my head on a door frame. Woke up in bed the next day with a massive lump and covered in puke.

Now anything vaguely coconutty makes me feel ill.

    You need the Dyson Animal.

We have two dogs and run a dog grooming parlour and it is outstanding. Comes with a beating brush type thing for the stairs as well.
Also a 5 year warranty. Cant go wrong.

Yep agree that the petrol/diesel saving calcs are a little out.

In the real world diesels will always be better on juice so even if you do modest mileages that extra trip to the shops say will have you put another £10 in a petrol while the diesel car will have that trip in it. I speak from bitter experience..

So while the diesel is more expensive in the first place my view is it costs less day to day which in the real world makes sense.

The diesel will also sell for more when the time comes and be easier to sell.

We have had ours about 6 months now 2 tdci and Im very impressed. Very comfortable and great mpg.
Personally I would be wary of the mpg on a petrol but other than that go for it.

Yep go to a running shop and get assessed.

Ive just got back into running and this very week I went into Sweatshop and got videoed running on a treadmill. Now I ve always needed support shoes as I moderately pronate or so I thought. Turns out I massively pronate. The shop suggested two appropriate shoes for my running style and purchased a pair of Nike zoom structures and can honestly say they are by far the most comfortable running shoes i have ever had.

Great wheels! Have them on my Uncle John and have done numerous 50 mile rides, general commuting and they even came through the Three Peaks unscathed and I’m a fifteen stone gear masher….

Still run true and fast, can’t rate them highly enough!!!!

Men do indeed do smellier farts, probably something to do with the beer/pork scratching over time ratio….

However the two hounds currently snoozing across the room from me are synchronised to go off alternately every 15 mins and the smell strips the hairs from your nostrils. It’s no joke that we have a “wafter” to dissipate the stench easy to hand.

Excuse me must go – they have gone off again!!

Dunno about the balance thing but one of the most painful things ever!!

I kept doing a diy hack it out job until the toe got infected. Had to wear a sports sandal on one foot and a work shoe on the other. Looked a right plonker!

Had it done at the docs where i needed 3 injections to take the pain away. Damn thing is starting to play up again as well….

There is loads left although no idea on estimated figure.

We are held to ransom by the cartels. There are dirty great ships full of the stuff waiting off shore for the right price before they deliver their load.

Reason why the Argies rattled their cage recently: There is an estimated 20 billion barrels under the Falklands…

Mtb for me. Love getting closer to nature.

Enjoy road riding for the fitness aspect and its quite something spinning away on a smooth piece of tarmac at 25 mph but I never feel safe on my own and no longer have the time to go out with my local club (Redhill CC) where its much safer in a group.

I do still dabble by changing the tyres on my cross bike but off road is my preferred.

Its all riding and its all good!!

Guns in general fascinate me but in equal measure scare the shite out of me.

Its for this reason i dont want to get involved and will stick to computer games.

An old work mate has got involved. Started with being addicted to COD then within 6 months had a gun licence and 3 dirty great shotguns. Now this guy lives in suburban London with no game shooting around. He is borderline alcoholic and has been out of work for 6 months, to top it all he is slightly unhinged.

It was far to easy for him to get these guns, the licence process took just a few weeks. Not saying anything WILL happen but out of everyone I know he is the one that should not have a gun……

It’s not about being minor players though because ultimately if you have nuclear weapons you can dine at the top table, for obvious reasons.

So in that respect we are not minor players.

Being a superpower though is different. Manpower, arms, munitions, technology, volume, innovation and guile all contribute to being a superpower.

In this respect we struggle, although pound for pound our servicemen are among the best in the world, it’s just the money that is chucked at it that is lacking.

Given our size we punch beyond our weight and always have, but there are bigger boys out there who more than respect us, superpower or not.

    Agreed!

The Septics are spending and developing like you would never believe….

The Russians spending a few bob on “traditional” munitions is fine, the Yanks will always be ahead of the game.

They have some crazy and no doubt crazier sh*t!!!

Good little system that but you can now get the Denon dm38 at £179.

IME once a piece of kit has gone wrong then it will never be the same again. I’d cut my losses and buy a new system.

ST170 engine with type 9 gearbox is worth a look. Throttle bodies will see 190bhp.

The 3SGTE conversion is the best for the Mk1.

The simple fact is an auto weighs more than a conventional gearbox hence the fact is doesn’t suit a lightweight car. Only the racing straight cut sequentials which aren’t truly automatic work, but that is a whole new ball game.

A manual gearbox with correctly spaced ratios is the best for road use in a light car.

Autos do not work on a kit, let me re phrase that, any sort of auto box bar full racing sequentials do not suit a light weight rear wheel drive car.

    On what grounds?

That’s a Woodsport MR2 MK1 Audi 4.2V8 from an RS6 conversion, not a lightweght kit car. MR2 Mk1 weighs 960 kg while average kit weighs 550 kg with engine.

The Mk1 is a beautiful handling car (Lotus were involved with the testsing) which is mostly due to it’s lightweight MR configuration, but as I have said the Mk1 is not a leightweight RWD kit car.

I think it was Harry the Spider who wrapped it up in the first post.

If they can take the 3 Peaks they can take the North Downs.

And I can vouch for both as I live and ride the North Downs and did the 3 Peaks in 09 (**** that was tough!!).

I’ve an Uncle John as well. Great bikes, full Ultegra, light frame, tough wheels. I just chamge the tyres to 23c’s and ride with the local roadie club, see’s 60 – 70 mile rides no problem. They always have a pop when they see mud on the frame though….

No doubt CX bikes are true all rounders!!

Forgot to add, Cantis are great when they are just set up and fresh, unfortunately they go off pretty quickly. Just adds to the fun though!!!!

Just got married and had the same problem.
I went for a palladium ring with matt centre and polished edges with a diamond inset.
Not the mad cost of platinum but with many of the qualities ie looks good and is hard wearing.
After 5 months its picked up a few scrapes but i reckon a gold ring would be looking worse!!
