Had my Focus RS mapped and was insured with Sky Insurance who were a specialist insurer linked to the owners club and there was no increase in price.

The year before Admiral did not want to know.

So going with a specialist and then declaring is the way to go.

My Grandad was on the anti aircraft guns in Malta which I think was the most bombed place during the war.

He never said much about it apart from the fact they were always black from the oil drums of tar they would burn to give them some cover.

Some good reasoned arguments on this thread, good stuff!!

    Some points from me.

    1. The run up to the next election has begun, 1-0 to the Tories.
    2. CMD is kicking the UKIP can down the road the wyly old goat!
    3. The Germans are willing to talk which speaks volumes in itself.
    4. The French aren’t happy.
    5. The Germans don’t care what the French think as they want to form an alliance with the UK…
    6. Trade with Europe will still continue if there is a Yes vote.
    7. Europe is in terminal decline.
    8. If Yes then we can legislate for ourselves.
    9. Trade with the BRIC pack should be a priority and if we can legislate for ourselves I can see a lot of favourable terms…

Oh dear, lots of Caterham snobbery on this thread but then that’s par for the course from Cat owners.

Anyhow a kit is only as good as it’s builder whether factory or private.

If you are a masochist then yes you can use them every day in the same way you can cycle 30 miles to work and back in all weathers if you want but this really isn’t the point of cars like these.

The point of these cars are back to basics no nonsense thrills at a decent price, something which will only get harder and harder to achieve in the modern world.

Well, all this fox talk seems to have caught up with me as one of our rabbits was killed around 12.30’ish.

The wife saw a fox by the hutch ran out there, scared it off but unfortunately too late. It had bitten the head off of one of our rabbits. Kids aren’t gonna be happy…..

More than likely a territorial thing going on. Fox will see cat as a rival predator

Good point. They have started shiteing on top of our dogs shite recently.

You’re confusing real life with some delusional fantasy world

No you are right. My neighbours definitely didn’t have their cats killed by foxes, they just imagined it. I’d better tell them they’re delusional as well.

TBH a fox vs a cat is not much of a contest especially with the big old sweaty foxes.

    Bullshit

Why? That’s what foxes do. If you have a coup of chickens they will kill them all but eat only one. For sport and the sheer hell of it, foxes are nasty like that.

The foxes around our way have recently been killing cats.

There are lots of variables involved, but foxes don’t usually go for cats…there are easier meals to be had.

They don’t want a meal, they don’t eat the cats they just kill them.

As I said before they do this for sport.

If the rabbit was in tact then probably a fox, they do this for sport.

Would imagine a big dog wouldn’t leave much.

    Let’s widen this slightly.

It’s not just about the govt wanting to spy on our private communications, it’s the way that the govt sees an ever-increasing role for itself in many aspects of our lives, from how much exercise we take, how we get to work, what we eat, what we drink, and how much we pay for it, how we express ourselves in public… There is a creeping, pervasive, neo-maoism at large…

We need to ask ourselves who is the property of who? The government, supposedly paid for, and acting on our behalves, should be our collective property, not a corporate entity that regards us as it’s collective property.

A very good point from ohnohesback.

Did get a bit confusing at the end but overall 7.5/10.

Was hoping it would be as good as Spooks and while the first few episodes looked promising it never materialised.

    Bring back Spooks!!!

Burford Bridge Hotel – Box Hill.

Had my wedding there, stunning location at the foot of Box Hill, lovely 16th century Tithe Barn for the ceremony, dinner and dance and within budget.Food very nice.

Best day of my life and all feedback from other guests was that it was superb.

You can go for a ride in the morning as well……!!!!

I feel for the OP because work dumps are never pleasant especially if you only have one trap!!

A place I worked at previously had only three traps and went through a lot of traffic and there was one deviant that used to fuse his muck to the porcelain. God knows how, it seemed to actually alter the chemical compostion of the Armitage Shanks….

Back to the OP – Personally I would embrace the situation and go for the manly approach, make as many neanderthal style grunts as possible, take as long as is practical and then emerge triumphantly fist pumping the air singing “I’m walking in the air.”

You will become an office legend.

This had so much potential but fell down in so many areas, not least the fact they will boil in the summer and freeze in the winter. It may as well have been a conservatory.

I think sheer pig headed’ness saw them through and while I will not character assasinate they seemed the typical “lah di da” types that try this sort of exercise, essentially fail and then continue to “gush” to all and sundry.

Not read all of that but IMO it is very important to remember the human sacrifice and courage of our ancestors.

Not getting in to who/why/when and the with class discussion aside, WW1 was unimaginable in scale, unimaginable in horror, unimaginable in suffering.

In our cosy 21st century lives nothing comes close.

One thing though is certain, and that is that each and every one of the dead should be remembered, even more so on the 100th anniversary.

I applaud the plans, and bear in mind this would have been done if any of the other political parties were in charge as this is how a civilised country conducts itself.

We should always remember the past to make for a better future.

Jeez, some of you need to lighten up, it was a party, a shindig, a good old knees up, a bit of fun to signify the end of a great event and the end of a long journey for the athletes in particular.

It was designed to let off the steam and IMO was a fitting finale to a wonderful two weeks.

Proud, me? Damn right I am.
