Best bet is to talk to the LPA and get their view. In the case of dangerous buildings youy may have grounds to knock it down especially of it was only grade 2 listed. Grade 1 normally isn't allowed to get into such a bad state anyway. If you put up something new near some old listed building you may find that you have to provide something that matches them however internally it'll all be up to current regs

They might let you build a new building but the pen pushers and local councillors will always try to preserve building no matter what the conditions as it's their way of showing power.

A hotel in Plymouth burnt down, it was grade 1 listed and we had to restore it back to former glory both internally and externally

Yeah be very careful. If it gets burnt down you could be forced to rebuild it there and then. Experienced that a few times in the past. Why do you want to bull doze it anyway?

But what about disco driver too? One tried to cut me up yesterday but one of the perks about having a 12 year old 306 is that I don't mind if he hits me. Had an X5 try to to pull in on a slip road in front of me the toher day but saw hiim before undertaking and overtaking in my rear view so thought he could wait til the next junxtion. I could see him waving his fist at me so I gave him thumbs up.

I've just moved from them. Had the 20mb package in Pompey and typically only got about 9-11mb. Just moved to sky package deal and saving £30pcm

Ah, kittens get scared of new surrounding and when older get scared when you move house.

I've been using frontline on my cat but found out that he's either alergic to that or the fleas.Get the stuff from pet uk rather than the vets as you'll save a packet.

With the conjunctivis you can get the stuff from the pharmacy. My vet charged me £30 odd for some stuff that I could have got from boots foe 2.99!

Soa re you going to post a picure of your kitten then?

Don't reaslly get a lot of thick nud around here, lots of hard pack and dusty stuff but maybe some slippery clay which any tyre will suffer on. Just waiting on delivery so will let you know how I get on

hmmm… wiggle have finally processed my order after two weeks of waiting. Found loads of positive repsonses when I was buying them and now all I'm finding are negative. It'll be going on the back with a Bonty ACX up front. Guess all I cna do is try it. It may be ok for around here but sounds like it'll be useless in Wales though.

Bring back Panaracer Smoke and Dart Magic never had any isues with them…

Generally thieves won't break in unless they can get in pretty quickly. Windows on the ground floor and basement should be fitted as standard with locking devices and an outer pane of glass that's toughenede and 6.5mm min thickness. It's pretty hard to get in through a window anyway and if anything they will try from the back especially if it's unguarded. You haven't got a front door that's recessed have you? You need to check your insurance details on what they require ie 5 lever etc. Is there easy access into your back garden?

Denpds a lot on the frame itself. You can insert DG into the frame as said above but then you have to rebate the frame further. My old amn found it easier to build new frames instead. If you’re on a terrace house on the street don’t do it as you’ll be in trouble with fire regulations but also check your house insurance small print too if you’re changing from a proprietary system with regards to security etc.

Can’t believe I missed Are You Tough Enough again.

How was Swinley? Wish I’d come up now. Instead I rode the flatness that is Portsmouth

I used to use it regularly, I suffer from bad knees and clicking thumbs from too many years of using thumbies. They helped sort this out but it takes a month or so to really kick in but when you come off you can feel a little stiff for a few weeks.

if it’s in the contract that that’s the moving date then you don’t have let him stay. Don’t chanrge rent otherwise he has rights and a few weeks will turn into a minimum notification period which I think is still 4 weeks. There have been a few horror stories about similar circumstances but then you always hear the bad ones and never the good ones. Solicitors won’t arrange an alternative date after cntracts have been exchanged without a penalty

They say you can only get swine flu if you’ve been in contact with an infected pig recently… I’m fine but I heard Jack Tweed is shi**ing himself.

Mike – I’m sure if someone took it on as a PJ and you offered a bed for the night and guided rides around the area I don’t think you would haveany trouble getting what you want done!

The one thing i regret about moving from Plymouth was Dartmoor. A mate did a solo tour a few months ago and broke his wrist in the middle of nowhere

Sounds like you had a really bad experience, was your architect doing the whole QS thing or were you doing it or did you have a proper QS. Unfortunately if prices aren’t looked after from day one and a reserve kept in the back then this can happen

My sisters mondeo had the same problem. It was something to do with the fuel injection and a sensor. Will be talking to her later so will find out later.

I’ve got Virgin broadband so got a free router with it. Just a bog standard net egar one but it’s good enough for the laptops and wii. I’ve got several games with wifi capability the best ones being mario Kart and Call of Duty… bloody brilliant and gives a new sense of excitement to a game.

Don’t forget that some new games require you to update your console with the latest firmware… this has to be done of a router…

I’m happy with the bike but that doesn’t mean to say it doesn’t need to be spoilt just like the mrs.. a new stem… or a set of shifters is like buying a new dress or a meal…

rampages are quite big. My brother in law uses them. If you’ve got 717s guess you’re a bit of a nimble rider anyway so rampages don’t sound right anyway!
