They’re sold as seen. I sold Gustavs a few years ago that I was given, didn’t know anything about thatm said that they may be seized deffo needed a rebuild so put in loads of pictures. Had a good offer for them so took him up on it. He got in contact a week later saying things weren’t working and he wanted atleast a partial refund. Given that I had described and put Sold as Seen in the advert as I always do I wasn;t going to do any refund.

Problem is if you say they were working and he contradicts that it’s one against the other. Who is right no-one will know and he’s even written to you saying he was happy. I’d accept a 50% refund however I would want the headphones back.

I’m planning on doing the SDWD the month after so would rather do it in one go but under race conditions if I can aviod carying as much stuff as possible then that will be a major preference. I couldn’t take the neire night off though, you may as well just do a 12hour enduro!!

Presumably if they had lost it it would be because they weren’t entitled to it? But seemingly they were entitled and didn’t lose it. So it’s all good.

Finding it difficult to see an argument here that isn’t “but the nasty council might take away something we’re not entitled to.”

Problem is the council need to save money and they were entitled to stuff but since the rules changed recently if there’s an ability to save money they will take it. Despite both inlaws needing disability aids they both say that they aren’t disabled and try to to do anything they can to not take the mickey which is they’re downfall at times as they only say that when they are fine which is about 50% of the year. I’m only saying this as it’s stuff I have found out from my mrs’ work as that’s her area.

That said there are still people who are just lazy and reap the benefits of disability aids like a neighbour who has a scooter and uses as a taxi to take her kids to school then goes and then goes and digs over her front garden. I’ve not spoken to her either, don’t know the extent of her issues so not going to shop her in.

I don’t I’m afraid. Back in my day of living there I had paper maps! I will see if I can dig some of them out as I know I marked on a load of routes

Brechfa isn’t bad by a long shot, I did a few days up there last weekend and one day was linking the red and part of the black. There is so much up there it’s unreal but I didn notice that a lot of the singletrack entrances from the parts we put in years ago have all been unused and are now grown over but there is loads of other bits in there. Link those up with the routes around Llanllwni Mountain and you have a pretty epic ride.

Father in law doesn’t get tired driving but he did nearly collapse in Tesco when there were no spaces left and he had to park the other end meaning quite a long walk

You can be re-investigated to see whether you are still entitled to all you have at this stage which is why my father/mother in law nearly lost their disability car.

All I would say is that ebfore you dob them in be very sure about what you are doing to make sure that it’s his badge and him whose taking the mickey. Having someone investigated and having a badge taken away can be devastating. That said there are some people who take the p***

The red is open but you’re going on a weekend so you’ll be able to mix and match some of the trails with no issues from what I saw. Loads of natural stuff ni there too so take an OS map.

Really? I thought the spec was a bit better than the equivalent Cube GTC SL although the frame on the Cube may be better. The Canyon does get very good reviews

Want to find out more about how its done ie as a solo, do I have t do it continuously? Can you sleep, feed etc and then go back on the track etc? Where can I find out that kind of stuff?

I had a deore cassette ad found it shifted as well as my XT, marginal weight difference in the grand schemes. Would pay a bit more money for a better quality middle ring if that’s nailed which it may well be.

Have you got more than one? They don’t like sharing litter trays especially when ill. We had to lock ours out when he was ill as we had both on our bed and it was once a day if the door had been left open. We closed all doors apart from to utility room where the trays were

I’ve got an otterbox and think it’s rubbish. The best one I have had in a very long time is the free Wiggle one. Water resistant and will take some falls!
