insides not an option for 2 bikes

You got a two seater?! Can get three bikes in the 206 with kit. had 3 dh bikes in my old 306 and 1 on the back before now with 4 passengers. That was a comfy drive!

PS, on the back when riding locally etc. Inside for longer journey as my rack seems to knock off 4-5mpg

Did you select speedy dispatch? That has a massive affect on when your sale gets sorted. Also now convinced paying by paypal is slower byt a few days.

Wierd, my LG started playing funny buggers last night. The on/off switch doens’t appear to want to work consistently [stays on] but not as annoying as yours. LG has a 2 year warranty uinless you bought it from John Lewis who have 5 years. You got any paper work?

Managed to get time to have a look tonight piston came out after a few attempts. Everything seems ok with it. The base of the spring is a little scratched up but think it will last a bit longer. But of dodgy wear inside cylinder but presumably from the spring. Got a seal kit coming (fingers crossed) so that’ll hopefully sort them

What about blogger.com? I follow others that use that and have created a profile but that’s it.

Contact the police and the bus depot manager. That’s dangerous driving. Glad you and the lad are ok though. Would’ve had major panics if that was me.

I voted for them, I voted for my local Tory MP who has done a lot more for the area than the previous labour MP.

Even with a stiff spring they were rubbish.

Just spent a fair while looking at Jedi’s blog… makes me want to journey to hertford now.

Rocketdog is a good follow too – http://a-pic-a-ride.blogspot.com/

Wanted to start a blog for no other reason than to broaden my mind and write things down. Created an account on blogger.com. Got as far as opening a blog page, tailoring it was too much for me and thought I would be dull so gave up!

You’re eating McDonalds at 11 in the morning?

gutted, few minutes earlier and you would be having a breakfast!

Leave anything… not me. I normally go to the trouble of getting a burger from KFC and fries from McD’s so I’m eating that boy.

I’ve had that with Cycle World in Portsmouth. Either I will buy locally from Wiggle [still supporting the LBS of sorts] or I go to Cycle surgery for Price Matching or I go to Velocity and get awesome customer services.

My Dad was on beta-blockers for migraine relief. Don’t know doseage but he couldn’t ride/drive for a while after taking them. Different affects on different people though I think. He’s stopped taking them now because the side affects were worse than the initial issue.

I’ve got it in my knee. Had it about 8 months now. No treatment for it unless you need to deal with an infection. Just need to rest it until the aggrevation subsides until the next time.

Just bought some bearings. Front wheel will be in damn good condition and the rear rim just isn’t that great. Think it’s been detailed enough

    diamond stones are good

I find it easier and quicker to use than a whet stone

    Taff

I go straight on the stone doens’t matter as you finish it off on a steel and that goes by feel anyway

I’m using a fire xc on the front and gone tubeless. It’s fine in the gloop to be fair but wouldn’t have it on the back with those sidewalls and don’t think it will grip quite as welll

Just seen that Hope XC bearing are only £7 anyway. Should I just get a set and remove the bit about helping to change bearings/free hub?

Have a gander at you tube for front mech set up. It’s amillion times better watching it being down than described

    Taff

Your low limit is normally nearest the seat tube

    Taff

Should be able to see the base of the screw against a metal finger within the mech itself. If it’s not touching it then it’ll be close to it and a lot closer than the other one.

16 degrees or there abouts. Would’ve been a bit warmer if the mrs hadn’t opened the lounge door this morning and left it wide open. OUr utlity room is freezing and that has an affect on the whole house. I’m quite glad that at the moment my boiler is back working again as it’s been persishing but an extra jumper & a blanket and all is good here.

Not a plasterer but there’s nothing wrong with the method you’re proposing providing the background is relatively flush. SHouldn’t need a waterproof background with Celotex etc as it’s a foil faced system anyway. If you’re redoing the ceiling then yes insualte that too while you’re making a mess. Doing the walls and ceiling will make a hell of a difference

The Edwin Jaggers are beautiful items as well and at about £15 on Amazon, not expensive.

I’ve got the EJ you mention. Bargain it was.

Blade choice makes a big difference too. Found Derby and WS blades to be poor.

Get a blade selection pack. It’s about £15 for a about 10 different packs. I found the Derby’n , feather etc all worke well but had other like treets etc that weren’t as good. Each persons shave will be different so you need to chose your own blades to suit the way you shave and skin.
