You could do sto render or something similar. Will come out from the elevation a bit but with the right bit of detailing you could make it look fine. Can you not insulate a cavity?

If I’m not wearing my over shortson cold days my abdomen gets cold and after a while my torse feels cold and constricted and I feel lung capacity is reduced. When feeling like this I’ve puked up what looks like bial, doens’t taste acidic but looks like it. Changed energy gels and also ensure overshorts and not had it since.

Do you take energy gels by any chance and has it been cold when riding?

Coughing up bial? I did this with my reflux, go see a GP. Any stomach acid coming up isn’t good.

I don’t think anyone can write it better than yourself. Just get others to check word/rephrasing etc.

EDIT: I did go to use one before but feedback was pretty poor. A friend is in recruitment and now vets all my CVs

£700 was the max. Built up my collections through earnings. Used to buy and sell stuff on SDH. Really stepped up when I managed to buy a Kona Stinky with 50% off. Stripped it and sold most stuff apart from the frame.

It sounds more oil related. Did you do it upside down? If so how much oil did you lose and did you replace it? Tighten the foot nuts up a little but they don’t need to be that tight.

I’m presuming he did it upside down. PS the squealing should be the footnuts.

    ‘contraversial’ decisions

Should have been a red card. Few contraversial decisions against both sides I think

Found fairy makes the chain go rustier than when using ither cleaners. I tend to use turtle wax in the bucket and muc-off. Got it cheap from wiggle when it was £2 a bottle. The ahlfords stuff is also pretty good

Just had to fix mine. Would rather try and repair it myself rather than call someone given call out costs. Take photos / notes as you’re undoing it to avoid spares at the end!

Changed transformer this morning. Didnt work – swore a lot at it then pick it up and one of the wire came out! Schoolboy! Seems to be working now so fingers crossed for the morning although the other wasn’t working when I changed it. Thanks for the input

Last year in the freezing weather when it was getting down to -12 my old man left bike in the shed. Completely clean, all lubed up [he even dries it with a garden vac type thing – anal I know]. Anyway, both the front and rear brakes froze and buggered the calipers! Had to get new brakes from a shop. Freak issue I don’t know but he’s got his mtb in his spare room at the moment

Was impressed with service from Loco. Ordered some bits after lunch and they arrived next day. Top Bloke.

Can’t remember when the forks were last serviced but they have plenty of oil in now! Think I lost a fair bit… one of the foam seals was pretty skanky too! There doesn’t seem to be the play there now that was there before so lets see how it goes.

    This is the other one

What you’re saying will make some sense. Apart from this morning I put the lights on the extractor one would come on and the others won’t. If I pull the pull cord a few times the lights will normally flash and then struggle a little then eventually come on

    This is my current transformer
Would THISone be fine as a substitute? There’s a slight difference in the primary and secondary amperage

Have you done a continuity test / resistance test to try and identify any potential problems to the transformer supply?

no, don’t have a tester unfortunately

The two transformers are slightly different. From what I can see they’re only a tenner so will go and try another

Thanks CG, a lot to digest and not enough over a lunch time. Something that stood out was this:

permanent brain fog, forgetting words and struggling to finish a sentence

. I’m glad I’m not the only one

I was getting a few other prescriptions and they were all free. The mrs hates the fact that I get things other than thyroxine free.

Just got off the phone to the doctor. He was saying that my TSH was high but still acceptable in his eyes and the T4 not too bad in relation to previous levels. TSH is currently at 2.56 where as it’s its normally been between 0.08 and 0.5 but I have had other peak to about 1ish which is when meds have been increased. T4 levels are currently at 14.5 but are normally at 16 and have been pretty consistent.

He’s said he would be surprised if the side effects are thyroxine related as it’s only a small increase in his eyes and has said that I should continue with the full dose as I’m now back on 3 monthly checkups

Jota, you’re quite right, it won’t get depleted overnight but two difference doctors have recommended I take tablets at approximately the same time ever day. I think a couple of hours isn’t too bad but if you take them in the morning not taking one until the evening is ideal.

    Taff

have you tried taking thyroxine at bed-time

No not tried that. Would be a little hesitant doing that as never go to bed at the same time. Could be a couple of hours in it. I used to take it at the same time when I came home from work at one point but can;t say I remember there being a difference.
