andrewh- great video, I’d love to think somewhere my life is been written by a monkey, I prefer the world where my life is been written by a monkey with a monocle.

Infinite universe’s is a lot to get your head round but I reckon it’s not that complex, loads of black holes, swallowing up loads of matter, squeezing it and creating new big bangs.

It’ll be great to see what’s discovered in our time!

emergent service class here… wonder if that’ll change when I move into my bought property…

    +1

Emergent service worker going on New affluent worker if I were to believe it.

I have absolutely no doubt in mind that this test/survey is completely out of tune with what’s really going on, tosh.

    I’m warrior class,
I’m in a constant battle with the government, poor manners and other road users.

For instance, today I’m fighting the battle of paying Nottingham city council £10 to replace my wheelie bin which was stolen by a road user.

    Yugen, Dude, fricken Yugen….

It’s safe to say, if we continue at our current acceleration of knowledge, we’ll be pretty conscious of the enviorment we reside in.

I love thinking this stuff but I often get myself so deep into thinking my head implodes!

I took my iPhone 4 into Apple store, Milton Keynes last year, wouldn’t charge properly, downstairs was heaving with people potential new customers,
I only wish they took the short few steps upstairs to see the amount of people waiting for the Genius Bar, problems and faulty apple products as far as the eye could see! It was ramo and it took 30 minutes before I got seen, 30 minutes after I made my appointment!
Granted they fixed the issue there and then but the fact remains Apple, although make good products are far from perfect!

I’m switching to a HTC One next month, I’m looking forward to be able to transfer my DVD collection to my phone but for me the thought of no more iTunes puts a massive grin on my face!

Apple have lost it, the available competition is far superior to the iPhone 5 and I suspect the iPhone won’t be much better.

tacopowell – what we clearly need then are some aliens to threaten us. Then the miliary budget can be spent on space – win, win situation.

(till the aliens kill us with their death rays)

Gears of War style alien invasion? Hell yeah! If it means I get a gun with a chainsaw attached, Sign me up!

Seriously though, if we spent twice as much on space exploration as we do now, I’d imagine we’d be much closer to new discoveries,
    Crying shame really.

Not particularly pro-English out in the sticks in the West, I’m guessing that had something to do with it?

Apparently Aberystwyth is a high risk area for any royal visits, there are a few bees in bonnets, unable to let go of a thousand years of injustice towards their people!
It didn’t particularly help sell it to us, no but if you really like it, I know plenty of Englishman/woman that have peservered, settled and our happy.

Tacopowell your not a cockney unless you were born within the sound of the Bow bells.
I think you will find that St Barts is within hearing distance of Bow Bells unlike a lot of what is called the east end.

I think St. Bartholomew’s is in the most western area, as pointed out, much of the East end can’t hear the bells,
Saying this I know in my heart I’m no true cockney, I’m a Norf Londoner!

Nottingham has made me realise how much I love North Wales, so will one day probably move back there. Currently eyeing up a job in Vancouver….

To be honest I moved from Nottingham to mid west Wales, It really is a cracking place but not to live (Very expensive amongst other things) which is why we moved back to Nottingham,

I think I’d prefer a happy medium, Sister lives in Hereford, I love it round that part of the country.

I’m hoping that “they” manage to get an astronomical interferometer into space within the next few years so we can directly image exosolar planets. That will be amazing.

    Realistic target.

I’m 30 this year, If I live another 30 years (if!) I should look back 30 years from now and see where science was,

1983- Space Shuttle Challenger makes it’s maiden voyage, paving the way for the first space Walk in 9 years.

Today, Number of space walks this year? None,

Yes I know a different science but we’re spending far to much on Wars than space exploration

I Hope to see leaps in discoveries but Not as much as I hope!

I think discovering independently evolved life is the game changer.

Great comment, Just hoping its discovered in my lifetime,
I’ve also a feeling its right in front of us, we’re just to small to notice it and when we do, we’ll be kicking ourselves, Theories aplenty!

Hadn’t seen that one, but I have now and it’s a cool thread, so I will let you off

He might be one of the people that starts threads by adding “track world” to the end of whatever they are asking about ?
Seen a few people mention that before.
    Coffeebeantrackworld
    Poshbroguestrackworld
    Etc etc.

Sorry I’ve just done this myself, I wasn’t sure if I should, I tried it, the threads already been lost, I hang my head.

some physicists believe that for every choice someone doesn’t choose,it will be chosen in an alternative reality (universe).

The simple fact is, we’re a long way off from knowing the full extent of what’s really out there, I love thinking about it and seeing how far I can keep understanding before my head implodes!

Why don’t you get a sim only rolling monthly contract until the rest of the carriers have their own 4G in place?

Been with network 3 for 2 months on a rolling contract,

£12.50 a month doesn’t included 0845 type numbers, £61 bill last time round! Plus the coverage is terrible,
Plus current iPhone 4 is playing up.

Waking up in a bed of my own blood, piss, vomit and shit,
Needless to say I can no longer tolerate the smell let alone the taste of Jack Daniels.

Drugs? Chatted up the missus, not realising it was the missus, told her all sorts of dirty things then got in a fight with a perfectly innocent guy.

I hit my rock bottom early on, I’m grateful for that.

Once a smoker always a smoker,

    Today I’m not smoking,

I’ve a simple way of looking at it, smoking ****’s up my cycling, I enjoy cycling a damned sight more than smoking, it’s a no brainer!
Strava is a stronger addiction than nicotine!

If I go out drinking and end smoking, so be it, the next day I put it behind me.

I fully appreciate its not that easy for everyone,
Don’t beat yourself up and ride more!

My brother-in-law and a one of my best mates are in the Navy and Army, retrospectivaly and both relish leave to get on their bikes, what’s more although my friend suffers from post traumatic disorder he is still the great fun loving guy he always was.
Yeah you won’t see him all the time but I can almost guarantee that the time you do spend together will be much better and your relationship will grow stronger.

Not running tubeless due to the amount of sidewall splits I’ve had in the past

    Seriously?!

Tubeless ready tires tend to have stronger sidewalls,
Been running Bontrager XR4’s on crests for about a year, great tires, no issues!

Go tubeless, you won’t regret it!
