Jaw-droppingly good. Must be 15 years old now and still sounds amazing.

Good on the front in the dry. Ok when wet. Terrible in mud (useless at shedding mud os they just clag up and slide).
I like them as a summer tyre.
The SC is nice on the front on rocks.

If it’s a case of being able to pay the high cost for properly fitted shoes but hoping to find a better deal then jsut do it right.

Yep, that’s pretty much where I’m at. Want to get well fitting shoes, just dont see the point in spending loads when she is going to out grow them quickly and is too young to care about branding.
The Start-rite web site looks good, thanks.

Oh, and whilst enforcement is being done, I’d really, really like all those metal box drivers and motorbike riders who think the Advnace Stop Line is for their benefit get punished as well.

Wont happen unless there is a change in the law. Have to spot the encroachment happening, rather than just seeing someone stopped in the wrong place. And then the penalty is 6 points (same as failing to stop at a red light), so police are reluctant to charge.

From experience: I wore my front down to a third of its original thickness before I noticed(!) and replaced it. I was riding alpine descents with it like that. Seemed fine but I dont know how much you can push it and the consequences could be bad if it fails.
I’ll be replacing the next one before it wears that much again. BTW, I’ve got Hope M4s FWIW.

Please post if you find out what manufacturers recommend as I’m quite curious.

Been a few times around 6-10 years ago.
It was a lot better before all the Brits turned up!
    Still a great festival though.
It’s def worth booking into a hotel or apartment if you can. as others have said, the festival goes on late into the night, with headline acts not finishing until 3am or later/earlier (you know what i mean!). So that give you very little time before the sun hits you tent and it becomes unusable.
    Other alternatives are:
    – book into a local camp site as it will have trees to shade your tent.
    – take a cheap garden marque and remove most of the legs, so that its just a couple of feet off the ground. Nice and cool.

If you’ve got the budget, I’d recommend flying to Barcelona and spending a day or two there. Then train/drive to Port Adventura (on the way to Benicassim), which is an excellent water park and theme park (worth a day in each and there is a hotel on site).

    Have fun

I use caged spds. TBH I dont think that they add much benefit!
Riding unclipped on them isn’t much better than uncaged.
They do seem to relieve a little pressure on one of my feet as tehy seem to support it more.

ridden all 7 stanes and most other trail centres in scotland. Kirroughtree is one of the best. Nice long trail, with plenty of interesting features and flows really well.

really liked Mabie the first time i went but seemed a bit meh after that.

Dalbeatie is good fun but doesn’t have the flow or size of the Kirroughtree trail.

    All subjective though.

and if you keep them indoors while they are flowering, you can help pollinate them by using a cotton wool bud, going from flower to flower like a bee would.

unlike a manual youre not trying to loft the front wheel as high as you can. its just a little pop to keep the front wheel level or higher with the rear wheel until you leave the ground

although you use exactly the same technique as a manual, just more subtley.

+1 What Jedi said: that’s how I learnt.
Taking it a step further; keep practicing this technique on you local trails. Use any small bump or root as the kerb, they dont need to be a proper drop to ensure that you’ve got the technique nailed. Doing this will give you confidence that you can apply the technique whenever you need it on the trail.

saw bits of it. was very slow going and overly long, so turned off. Seemed like it would make a good one hour programme.
As said above, they also deviated a lot from the original design, so it felt like watching an episode of scrap heap challenge with a budget.

FWIW I’ve found Prevex Edge to be the most effective at getting rid of viruses. It managed to destroy a rootkit virus that AVG & Spybot couldn’t do anything about.

Another old horst link turner here. Leave pro pedal off permanently as the frame just doesn’t need it.
In contrast to the other half’s trek ex which really benefits from pro pedal on climbs.

IMHO a combination of frame and riding style/technique really determine the need for pro pedal

premium service is good EXCEPT that there are still many artists and labels missing from Spotify, which makes their “unlimited” service some what limited. Hopefully, the new restrictions will enable them to fill some of the gaps in their catalogue before people start leaving.

oh and Tarot Sport by The **** Buttons is tremendous, as is The Last Resort by Trentemoller. Although both are not the genre that you asked for, so look up some descriptions/review/previews before shelling out any money on them.

    Going back to OP:
Warpaint – The Fool is worth a listen.
    Beach House – Teen Dream
    Grinderman – Grinderman 2
The National – High Violet (although you’ve surely got that already!)
Hurts – Happiness (bit MOR but good)
PJ Harvey – Songs from the city…

Off to listen to some more of the recommendations now…

as with most insurance, if you can afford an occaisonal one off hit when things go wrong, you dont need it.
Be careful of “free parts” as they will just make up the cost of parts in excessive labour costs, so you save nothing.
As said above, good local plumber/gas fitter is best.

Back to the OP after hijacking the thread,
After doing the same research and seeing some lengthy threads on here, I eventually plumped for getting a 2nd hand Chariot Cougar. It is a great bit of kit.
The Cougar has leaf(?) suspension. Although it also has a very well designed seating area which provides a good level of comfort. Some of the cheaper ones have a less forgiving bench style of seat.
General opinion seemed to be that the more expensive trailers (cougar, burley, croozer) are worth the money if you are going to be going off road a lot with them.

Def use the forum search tool to find the trailer discussion threads that have been on over the last few months. They’ll prob answer all of your questions.
