Ask the local authorities to confirm what they are doing , then ask for a waiver or a grace period of a few years as you already have the vehicle.

Wilderness system ripper (I think someone else make them now) v short but has sufficient Skeg, very good in the surf as well. How heavy are you? Short on buoyancy for the larger paddler

From Bowood do a loop via heddington out to Cherhill(above Avebury) then Compton Basset back on the Calne to Chippenham cycle path to the bridge over the A4

From Cherhill you could add lots of trails

consider security lights as well as upgrading the door.

consider a complete steel doorset including a steel frame, there are lots on the market that don’t look like they came from a battleship or draw attention.

talk to your neighbours to see how they accessed their garden/ encourage them to do something.. maybe plant some Pyrocanthus / fix fences etc…

as you’ve been robbed remind the neighbours to get some advice as almost certainly the scrotes have scoped out other things / properties to rob in your area

Skoda Yeti? They have a sliding rear seat arrangement that’s v useful

Vw golf SV probably a bit new to make your list but has lots of space not as long as the estate, tall but doesn’t feel like a regular mpv + has sliding rear seats

I doubt a coalition can be sustained between any parties, the record of how the conservatives treated their partners post 2010 show that any junior partner can expect to get damaged by the relationship.

You don’t need to be an MP, by convention for the past 100yrs the role has been filed by an MP

Like most things relating to governing this country the rules are very vague

Jam Bo, not strictly as it’s decided by convention and the rules are extremely vague, the easiest route would be to be given a seat in the lords, although the last time someone became PM the devolved assemblies didn’t exist. Clearly without being an MP it’s extremely unlikely

If anyone likes a bet Ruth Davidson might be an interesting choice to be the conservative leader to contest the next election…

Benefited from lots of investment in education, educational attainment within Bristol has improved significantly

Economically the area is performing stronger than most parts of the UK

If it’s comfort and convenience then test drive a golf/or clone with a DSG gearbox plus the ACC (the adaptive cruise control is good with the manual gearbox but so much better with the automatic)

Im sure Volvo had a similar system to ACC available but I’ve no experience with their automatic gearboxes

I’ve no experience of the new Honda other than a type R which was amazing but not a car I’d want as a commuter

Hire a Tirfor winch you can use the winch at the load end and take the steel rope around the house to the back garden to a suitable anchor there just protect the rope and corners of the walls with some timber

Obviously with the pallet on rollers, chocks etc

The hoist normally go up to over 3000kg + have 20m of rope

Wow…. if only conspiracy theories were true…one of the guys I did my apprenticeship with would have been delighted not to have been in Korea and not to have not frozen his butt off in a centurion tank or to have been left deaf

    Suggest m5 J11
    A40 Gloucester
    A40 branch on to B4125
At Newent take B4125 continue on to A4172

Continue on to A417 then on to A49

Good luck with the job and house hunting the whole region from Cardiff to Bristol is on the up.
Education in Bristol has improved dramatically in the past 10 years, the tolls on the bridge are going to reduce, investment in the train rolling stock/ network is underway, infrastructure improvements to the M4 around Newport are planned as are improvements to the heads of the valleys roads.

It’s a story that’s been done to death in so many books and documentaries.
In some circles it’s the worst thing that ever happened to them, it brought a world of publicity and attention which distracted from their heritage. Prior to this large sections of Bradbury Lines only had 4′ angle iron fence posts and chainlink…..afterward this all changed along with the appearance of loads of folks making ££££ from books.

First of all good luck with your child’s recovery

It’s you and your wife’s family and it’s both of your rules, you need to be united dealing with this problem.

Unfortunately there’s a perception in life that granny knows best/ with age comes wisdom / that all old folks are nice descent people. Unfortunately this is far from true and some remain the same unpleasant self centred folks that they were in their youth…. except now they play on being old etc….

Of course most are wonderful folks who contribute/ contributed greatly to society however being old doesn’t automatically correlate to this.

Plenty of interesting stuff on the Hay side of the Black Mountains

Don’t forget the area around Hergest + have a look for a copy of the route map for the defunct Roughride event (but check the rights of way as the route designer ‘Jerry the Clog’ negotiated access to f private land for sections of the event)

Jerry was part responsible for the defunct roughride website which had loads of route data in the area …. Its doubtful that anyone knows the rights of way better than Jerry…

Not sorting out onward travel or caring for their customers is their fault.

Everyone accepts that thing go wrong, it’s what you do when they go wrong that’s important. That where GWR fail.

My employer is reasonably enlightened and insists that everyone undertakes a driving risk assessment every year. All the folks who think they’re driving gods get selected for driver training….

They complain about being selected as if it’s an insult to their manhood.

If it was on a turntable a platform on a slew ring bearing would be the best option but they are v£££

If you need it to be on a turntable you could make a platform with a vehicle hub in the centre and outer support wheels

If it’s a platform that you want to swing around 30 degrees the us a vehicle hub at the pivot point and wheels at the far ends

Using a hub of a trailer would be an easy option as you could bolt it to a base and use the wheel bolt holes to fix to the platform

when it happens again… use fullers earth or cat litter to absorb as much of the liquid etc 1st before cleaning up or shampooing… getting a much out of the car before wetting anything seems to work well. (mum borrowed my new car to go shopping and spilled 4 pints of milk in the rear footwell then attempted to wash the carpet by hand…. after many attempts I had to take the seats and carpet out to clean everything)
