I did love my mmmBop. 150mm Talas, 2×9 and decent wheels. Made me feel I could ride anything.
Only upgraded to full suss as I couldn’t keep up with a pal over rock gardens etc (he rides a Giant Anthem X2)

    PMSL!

Is the space saver a different diameter to the original wheel?

I have an 04 Gemini, it works fine, does all I ask of it. Nothing is wrong with it but the idea of a new bike appeals and I think about “all mountain full suspension”. Then I wonder what they will do that the Gemini cant.
NO real need for new bike here yet…

When in France I try to speak French, makes you stand out to the “other brits” less, stops(reduces) the chance of being tarred with the same brush.

Sponsor at Ft William last year, all the “crew” got jackets. Worn mine lots over the last year, including 14days back to back skiing. Nice and cozy still, no signs of “over use” yet.

]Interesting, and a little bit sad if I’m honest, that this thread silently slipped under the waves. With all the hysteria about the TdF, Round 5 of the UCI MTB World Cup passed by without barely registering on what USED TO BE an MTB forum

There, corrected that for you . Its all road bikes, fixies and lycra now.
The title was SINGLETRACKworld. it however seems to harbour one or two road riders, shame…

Curious about “I dont need a bash guard” statement. If so why not put the outer ring back on then?

Get out you jammy ****,you`ll be fast enough to moan when the weather turns more “british”…. some people have to look after small people today and dont have the chance!!

Looks very similar to a Decathlon one from a few years back…..which was equally as cheap.

If youre starting at Wooler and heading for coquetvalley/Kielder youre going away from Scotia!
Follow bridleways/back roads south from Wooler heading towards Ingram, then up and over towards Prendwick then drove roads/tarmac into coquet valley. As for getting to Kielder from there……TARMAC
The pennine way which I think yopu may be planning to trace is not really a cycleable option because of direction of travel and its footpathness.

Sounds like you`d better sell it and buy a new one…..

Why do you want a “fs” bike? Do you feel it will make you a better rider? Do you feel you deserve it?
If you have some mega technical trails to overcome on the way to work(the purpose of the bike to work scheme) then go ahead.

Or is it to use at weekends and in the summer evenings having driven to work??
    Just wondering ;)

If the “warranty replacement” is sent direct to you,you are still liable for import VAT and clearance fee.
Surely you should be costing this in when you think of buying in the first place???
At least cost it in before pressing the buy now button

Although only recommended to take 140mm max, here`s my Dialled PA with a 150mm Marzocchi. I have 4 other bikes none of which get as much use as this.

Honestly, the fuss over these is insane

Just the same as an On One*, an Orange Five or any other skill compensator on this forum…..

    * not a skill compensator, somewhere to hang your bike jewelery

The word “Customize” can mean several things. I put a window in the sliding door, had rear glass tinted, put a bed/seat(no seatbelts so still only 2 seater) in the back of my Transporter. I changed the wheels, have had the ECU looked at and am pondering over an awning.
What would you be doing? If you look on e-bay there are businesses who can carry out various bits of work and being located where you are they may be nearby.

    Earlier this year

I picked this panel van up and have carried out work well within your budget..

Usually do it as a break from the driving en route to WC week @ Fort William. It fills in a few hours :-) I enjoy it. Mix of red and black stuff

My SO has had problems with her EX, solicitors letters mean JACK SHIT to him.He agreed to doing/taking etc. to the solicitors but NEVER backed them up with actions. If your ex partner chooses to behave in the way she wants, there is little or nothing you can do.

Why do people go to trail centres and expect to ride “natural sections”? Its a trail centre, its manmade it is supposed to be sustainable/wearproof
