well i started my new regime last night, no laptop after 8, drank 2 pints of water, went to bed at 9 but read until 10 followed by good nights sleep. Felt ok this morning but still a bit groggy, drove to work and i’m part way through a litre bottle of water to finish before lunch. I’m not missing my regular thursday night ride though!

thanks folks, i’m ‘normal’ on the epworth score so i’m going to try and cut out sugary foods (i’ve just eaten a muffin!) and i’ll try and drink more water too and see how it goes over the week.

Though crikey i think you might be right!

I get up at 7 so not silly early, going to bed at 8.30 is unusual but last week i’ve been having trouble fighting it.

I normally sleep like a log but i will try and change my evening routine as i do tend to sit infront of the tele with the laptop on my knee so not really resting. I think i’ll try and read a book instead.

    thanks

Pureracing were very good and familiar with the issue which related to mark 1 posts, said it would be covered under warranty but as mine was s/h it would be £45 for replacement shaft, new bushing, seals etc and service plus refturn post so not bad i suppose.

oh and its apparently nothing to do with the diagonal forces but i’m not convinced

I’m sure it can so long as it’s properly prepped and primered

difficult to tell the depth and also it hasn’t been repaired so if they’ve been run like that the seals may be damaged.

this is all getting very complicated 😕

I’ve ridden a fair bit in Tenerife, out on my own and guided with Lavatrax. The really good stuff is up in Teide national park but biking isn’t allowed but there is loads of other riding if you can find it. The problem is i couldn’t find any dedicated mountain bike route guides but there is loads of walking routes so buy one of those. The other big plus point is you can fit you bike in the hold of the buses so just get a bus up as high as you can ( the volcano is right in the middle) and explore the way down to the coast

I did my first one last year and i did enjoy it but i know what you mean esp about the cost as the one i did was £25, plus i got lost as the signing was poor.

It’s £30 this year which i just can’t justify but i might just turn up and ride around the route for free

Love my Flows, much better than the 819’s they replaced. I thought the flows were quite a bit lighter?
