I’ve been to Tignes a couple of times, you’ll soon get bored of the DH runs but there’s lots of off piste trails to be found over the back and to the right. Also rode Val D’Isere last year but was a bit dull.

If i were you though i’d ride down to Les Arcs, best of the bunch by far imho.

I have got a co2 valve but as Nick says not being able to chill it is a big problem for me, i’ve looked at the PET bottles and they’re quite reasonable so i’ll be getting some of those.

I don’t think i’ll bother if it’s going to be flat, i had a couple of spare Tom Caxton bitters and i’ve just got one started which will keep me going till i get some bottles.

i’d say yes, i reported a driver who was daft enough to do it in a works van. I phoned the number and reported it to them thinking that was the last i’d hear but a day or so later the MD phoned to say they take this sort of thing very seriously and the driver had been disciplined.

depends what you’re like climbing with the single on, if you’re ok go for the single, if you need some help keep the granny. I just kept my normal setup, 32t and granny which was fine.

it will take a bit of work but the look on his face will be worth it!

Hi, i’ve been a few times as friends have a chalet in sainte foy, well la thule and there’s tons of stuff. As said you can ride down from Tignes all the way to Bourg then up to Les Arcs (much better than Tignes imho) if you like which is great. I thought Tignes was ok but the dh runs get boring quite quickly though check out the more xc stuff to the right of the bowl, oh and lifts were free last year too for bikers.

Sainte Foy itself has some great trails, plenty of wooded singltrack and they have a 4×4 uplift in summer too.

If you need accomodation let me know

Might be worth getting in touch with The White Room in SF or Trailaddiction in Les Arcs for a guided day to get some local knowledge to save you time hunting stuff out
