graham, ta but ptfe won’t allow for movement,

geoff, that would be good but as i said there’s no make at all on the shower and the seal isn’t an or ring, it has a ridge on it.

i think i’ll take it into the plumbers to see if they recognise it.

no there’s no permission and as stated there shouldn’t be anything up there but it’s been done sensitivley it’s just the MX bikes i’m really bothered about.

it may sound hypocritical as well as selfish but i just want to prevent further damage

I love it, i still get my night ride and w/e ride but i always used to get a bit of grief about riding any more but now whenever i get the urge i take the kids for a spin in the woods or up to the bmx track. We all get have fun and exercise and my wife has a bit of me time, everyones a winner!

I had one for a bit on my prophet but swapped it very soon for a swinger 3 way as i didn’t like it, i can’t seem to remember having a problem with the rebound but seemed to loose air. I’d sack it and get and RP23 which is what i’m saving up for.

They do need extra maintenance due to pivots, shock and bushings which you can limit to some extent with a single pivot design. They do suffer more in winter though which i’ve really noticed this year as my HT has been poorly. Not all FS related but in the past 2 weeks i’ve had to fit a new BB, shock bushes, freehub, snapped spoke and service the fork. Thankfully i built my HT back up last night and will be out tonight to test it out.

MattF, it’s a Hope reducer headset which i chose as it has a taller lower race to stop the dials fouling the downtube, I’m forever crossing up on massive hip jumps!

As for the gusset on the MX’s, newer models have an external one, older ones internal.

    Hi Rob,

Here’s mine don’t know how much it weighs though i do keep an eye on weight, but you can feel for yourself on saturday if you like! It’s a bit lighter than the pic as it’s got Crossmax XL’s on it.

I’m liking yours on white though.

yes i’d thought about getting it pushed, still probably cheaper than a new rp23 and a better shock??

I’ve done lots of oil changes and main seals but never o rings, but both forks are poorly so i thought i’d do the full hit.

I’d booked to go to the park last year from the uk as part of a trip only to find when i got there that the park was closed on the day i’d booked, friday i think so watch out for that.

the site davey has posted looks really good, i’ve been for the past six years and things only just seem to be getting organised ie decent companies offering a choice of good trails.

I just get the bus up to Mt Teide and ride back down to our resort but i may well take a closer look at that new site.

The same thing happened to me with my stiffee, definatley have the threads chased first this may well do it and if that doesn’t do it send it off to be repaired with a new sleeve.

Mine is back with BETD at the mo, though i wouldn’t recommend them!

I’ve had a good week this week, 2 night rides and a biggy today, normally only 1 regular night ride and a weekend spin if i’m lucky. Mine are 6 & 4 btw!

in my first house i got it off in the living room with a wallpaper steamer, i had to hold it on each patch for ages and then scrape off the goo, not a very nice job. In this house we’ve just had it all plastered over, much easier! Our plasterer did pva it beforehand.

I’m having the same problem or at least similar i tried to fix it by removing and reloading itunes but now i’m left with 2 listings of everything, one that will play and one that won’t.

I’ve tried what Pete said but it hasn’t fixed it for me, or at least i still get the message for 1 listing???

Anyone know how to delete duplicates, i know how to view them but not delete?

I’m 37 but i got back into it a few years ago, i’ve great excuses though as i’ve bought both my kids BMX’s so i’ve got to go to the track with them but they’re too little for the skatepark yet so i set up a BMX club in the school i teach which gives me an excuse to ride every friday.

    do it

Only Dirt for me, i really like the mag as i suppose it best suits my riding ( or at least the riding i aspire to!) and they give away free t-shirts which always helps.

I do get a bit bored though and some times i’ll thumb through when it arrives then not look at it again
