it was also a suprise to see Hills tubes hanging out after yesterdays crash,

I'm guessing even with tubes if you had an impact big enough to have cracked a rim it would be a pinch and the end of your run?

Here's mine, had for 3 years and love it, haven't seen anything else to tempt me away.

Currently having a full overhaul pre alps trip, shock at TF, forks serviced and floodgate removed, new tyres and chain.

keep an eye on the level in the resevoir as you pump as if it's runs dry you'll have to start again, should take about 4 resevoir fills to fill the caliper and hose.

Yeah i asked TF my shock is with them at the mo,

aren't they too specific for a hardware store, it's not like it's a normal nut and bolt?

some sealant in there will help it seal (funnily enough) also put some fairy liquid in an old muck off bottle or similar with a little water and spray the bubbles around the rim, it also helps if someone else can hold the tyre in place enabling you to pump like a b astard.

    ouch!

had my RP3 pushed and that's money well spent, i've also got Pikes but never thought they needed anything doing to them, what do you find up with them to warrant a push?

ta, yes i know i can do that, the problem is i've got 300Gb of tunes on the hard drive but i've cherry picked 20Gb from there for my ipod and i didn't put them in their own folder so if i start again it will take ages

well first game is England v USA who are blue so i'm guessing white as first choice
then England v Algeria who are white but i guess we are 'home'so we'll paly in white again
then it's Slovenia v England who are also white but they are at 'home'??

    so 2 white, 1 red??

    then who knows!

The bikes built around an older Spesh P3 frame and i'm just starting off so not quite up to bar spins yet.

I've got 710's on my BFe but i think any longer on the P3 would make it a bit twitchy in the air?

As in first post the car is an 05 Passat, the recovery guy from the garage said he gets a couple of these a week and by the sounds of things at £150 a pop for draining the tank it's bread and butter for them.

Good point hamishthecat you can always be sure to get the full spectrum of views on here, love it.

Just picked it up from the garage, they drained the tank, flushed the system and refilled with diesel and it's fine, £150 plus diesel.

Lowey, paypal to address in profile 😉

no it's was £200 from the garage who said that was for drainage and disposal of petrol then new fuel filter however looking around the net turns up some horror stories if the cars been driven so i think i'll let the garage look at it.

B&B hotels are 76 euro's so not that budget,

I'll try F1 again but reviews of the Paris ones talk about dirty shared toilets, very noisy, terible food etc.

Just returned my 4 pack as the pads were so far off centre on the backing plate that there wasn't enough room for the spring to sit down the side and they fouled the caliper.

    Last set were fine though

I really like mine, run it with Pikes up front and lightish but tough build, thomson, xtr, crossmax.

Climbs very well and great going down, i updated my trusty Cove Stiffee to a BFe as i like a do it all hardtail and i've no regrets.

Watch the sizing though, i'm 5 10 and have always ridden mediums as my other 3 bikes are but i ride a small BFe.

I was going to say roll on the price war just before they go bust but i didn't want to appear too negative but thats business i suppose.

That shop in dore hardly has a good track record, it's been quite a few things over recent years none have been a success, what do they say location, location, location?

Indeed Pook, spoilt for choice, fingers crossed for a price war!

I've heard this one is going to be pretty high end though, apparently stocking Yeti amoungst others?
