Don’t waffle. Talk about something tangible you’ve done, always helps referring to results. Saying this for both cvs and interviews (worked in recruitment for my sins and interviewer at current place of work)

I’ve got a mavic jacket with front zip which is either mesh or can be closed fully. Also has under arm zips. Cost 200 plus but worth ever bit. Got 3/4 endura waterproof shorts which were around 100. The pockets are shit quality as the “bottom” of both ripped (welded internal seam). Sealskin socks which will get we but keeps the heat.

The mavic jacket is just awesome.

Whatever you do install viewranger. Proper gps (works without phone signal) and uses ordnance survey maps. I’m on a 3GS simplicity month on month thingy, very much waiting to see what the ip5 is about too!

Not that I know of but F4 repeats your last command, so that might help (and might not help either of course)

I bike in Berghaus shirts usually, very breathable (the argentium stuff, which has got silver ion threads, i.e. anti-odour tech). If it’s really cold and windy i’ll wear two shirts and it’s excellent for breathability and wind stopping. Any brand with the same tech would do. Merino Wool defo being top notch stuff.

Berghaus freeflow, fits everything, 5 cm between your back so never sweaty and fits all and ALS acts as a bit of back protection due to the rigid structure (plastic grid thingy) but maybe that’s overestimating what it was designed for :o

The camp site 400m north of the castle and purple mountain have tiny woodenn cabins that sleep 4. I think it’s 40 quid a night. I camped there a couple of weeks ago, many many midges, wear anti midge nets is my suggestion

Lonesome Pine (on the left) is a bit of a pain first half but the second half has the most awsomest single track (narrow, very twisty and loooooong). I fell in love. Deadwater is much more technical and rocky. ive done both on a hardtail and crappy riding skills.
