There is plenty of riding starting from Wooler. Try heading out on Common Road, stay to the left and head over to Carey Burn, then back via Earle. I haven’t got a more precise description as it is ages ago I used to ride there, but with a map you’ll find a nice loop. There is also some nice singletrack around Kenterdale Hill, just up from Earle. And you’ll hardly meet anyone around there, even at the weekends!
