I don't think so, but there is Barley and this contains gluten, so no good for a Coeliac.

I also like the new trail at Sherwood Pines, dispite falling off, breaking my arm and ruining my holiday to Morzine. The trail isn’t difficult, I’ve no idea how I managed to bin it. It is a pretty fast route, but not really technical enough to warrant a red grading. There were plenty of kids riding it when I went.

This trail has only been open for a short time, we used to just ride around and when we saw some singletrack, just hop onto it. There are some bits that are for walkers only, but these are signposted. You shouldn’t get lost, when you’ve had enough just get on the fireroads and you should find your way back.

    Thanks for the replies.

Gareth, that sounds pretty impressive, hope mine mends that quickly. Were you fully recovered, or did you just ride through the pain? Hope they didn’t miss anything, the a&e doctor looked at them and I think she said she’d shown them to a consultant too.

    Michael, no, not dislocated.

Dusty, ‘at your age’ – I was expecting you to say you’re in your fifties or something with a remark like that. I’m only a couple of years younger.

Thanks. Now I need to find a shop that sells them so I can try them on.
