2.2 Protections with black chili here. Brilliant tyres and very predictable in all but the wettest of off camber slabs. I'm running them at 45PSI front and rear on a hardtail. Looking forward to trying the Rubber Queen 2.2 black chili on the front with MK on the rear too.
Problem is that people go out and buy bottom of the range cheap tyres and expect them to perform.
Wife's had one of these today. It's absolutely comical. We're moving accounts ASAP. We also thought they were trying to sell it as doing us a favour too.
Try it without flipping the stem. I find mine puts me in a position closer to my road bike yet upright enough to look forward and through traffic. It's a little more aero and makes a big difference.
The new one looks a little fat but I think it's just those kojac tyres. i HIGHLY recommend the Conti GPs I'm running. fastest 26" tyre out there and they don't look much different to the GP4000s on my road bike. Black Chili versions on both. If you are venturing off tarmac, the frame in mine is basically an MTB frame and would take a 2" tyre I'm positive without any problems. Probably even larger.
As for a fixie scene in Aber, I've not noticed it, but I'd be quite interested to see fixies pelting down Penglais hill with 8" flat bars and no breaks!
It's close enough. Will have to check it out some time. Did Doethie a couple weeks ago and that was enjoyable but recent forestry meant we had to re route a little.
If you've got a decent sized paddock and are willing to get more than 1 (I believe they rely on companionship a lot). Do you keep sheep already? If so they are often used to guard flocks of sheep. If you end up with a male+female pair they will be shagging 10s of times a day and quite frankly it's hilarious. As for house training, I can only presume that you are joking that an animal wider and taller than most door frame would work well inside a house!
As Bunnyhop says. The 'wife and I line' is a guaranteed laugh and it gets easier from there on in.
Follow the advice regarding thanks as outlined above and maybe throw in a couple short anecdotes if you fancy it. Mine lasted about 5 minutes tops and I was a fair few pints, glasses etc. down by then but managed to deliver a perfectly sober speech somehow.
Dave, I have sample books from a few filter gel manufacturers. You are welcome to a couple if you know the colour you want. Probably have 300 colours in total
I have speed king supersonics for 24 hour races and moutain king protections for local dyfi enduro type riding. Run them at 45psi and 14 stone. Both great Tyres for their intended purposes.
Great video and looks like a nice ride too. I feel your pain regarding the pump as I've recently learned this lesson for myself. What camera are you using?
