I found myself getting mildly irritated by my ex when she came to visit with my daughters earlier. Now I am chilling after a walk in the wyre forest collecting holly and watching more caravans arrive for a huge Christmas and New Year gathering. I also have a veg hotpot simmering in the slow cooker – life is good :-)

Sitting here with the sun shining through my caravan windows it feels like spring is already on it’s way :-)

    Dangerous ground mate!

Crap gift – you look thoughtless, couldn’t be bothered, not making any effort

Good gift – she’ll think you want to give her one, or he will, either way not good!

Just stick to a mince pie (and a brisk handshake)

Only a few minor flurries here in Worcestershire, though I am moving my caravan up into the Clee Hills tomorrow for Christmas and the New Year (lots of other caravans and parties) and it’s always snowy there :D

I agree with K.O.N. Legalisation of drugs would be a step forward, look at the lessons learnt from the prohibition of alcohol in the USA. I believe AL Capone was finally busted for tax evasion .

But what drugs have to do with police on crossers, i don’t know

you can re-list straight away, if you mutually agree not to complete the sale you will get your fees back!

5lab, i don’t see why it wouldn’t, the PC just sees it as a ‘mass storage device.

you can transfer books direct from your PC via USB! No registration required. If you look at the Kindle user information on Amazon it is all in there – somewhere!

scooters and mopeds do seem to bring out the worst in some people

maybe you should get a car

just to stir things up, if we take the original meaning ‘pedals and a motor’ and think about early scooters (vespa and Lambretta) none of them had pedals (?)

Hasn’t ‘moped’just become a generic term for any small scooter/motorbike now? a word like hoover?

for clarification here is a real moped (pedals and a motor!)

Aren’t the Aldi ones just an oven and grill, and not a microwave as well?

I am stuck with a limited choice as it has to fit in the gap left by the microwave.

SPooky – it depends where I am, I have been on a 10 amp supply but I am regularly on amp supply and sometimes as low a 6 amps. I am not to worried about this though as on a six amp supply it would still work as just a microwave and I would have to cook on gas – I’m just not much of a cook and worry that it will be a waste of money.

I think that it’s fair to say that cycling does not cause colds or contribute to them in any way!

thanks for the kind words KOF

I am sure you do get a lot of cold germs through your eyes. Recently I had an ‘antibodies’ blood test, it turned out I have low immunity to some of the common germs that cause colds. So i have had a few vaccinations and have to go back for another test later this month.

Apparently you develope natural immunity before you are 5 years old, but for some reason I didn’t.

might be worth asking your GP.

and as for no one to kiss – Snap!

I just tend to get it as I go along so i have no idea. It depends on the size of your stove and the type of wood you use.

cheers TJ, I assumed not as it seems silly to have to do a CBT if you have a full licence, but it might be a good idea anyway.

do I have to take a CBT? I passed a car test in the mid 80’s and it says on my licence i have a ‘full’ licence for 50cc.

out of interest a moped was a bike with a motor and pedals hence mo-ped.

OP – why do you ask? do you get a lot of colds?

some useful stuff here, i now know what to do with the cat that keeps s**ting on my drive. Shoot it to put it out of it’s misery!

I am no big fan or cats, but i would think hitting one over the head and killing it is most probably illegal! So as much as you might want to ‘help’ you may have no choice but just leave it.

look at number plate sellers on ebay, much cheaper and you don’t have to show your documents.

rasnos – £100 to fit a socket? that is outrageous, £50 would be expensive!
