Car Vertical is worth a shout for a very comprehensive vehicle check. It’s not free though, but a discount code of SR10 gets you 10% off.

    @superram was probably there…

I was. Not SF though. Unless you were there, seeing your friends killed and injured, then you’ll understand why I personally don’t want a witch hunt for those guys. Birds of a feather and all that………

    Hopefully not.

Another 725 owner here (Pike and GX build kit).
Had mine for nearly a year and I love it. Bought it mainly as a winter bike as my Foxy eats bearings for breakfast, but I’ve found myself riding it more than I thought.
It’s a very capable bike and loves it when you point it down, it’s very playful. They climb fairly well too.
Just don’t get one with the stock Level wheelset, as they’re made of cheese and are a pain to set up tubeless. I destroyed the rear after two weeks (replaced with Hunt Trailwide).
I also managed to score a deep gouge in the dropper, which then let in water and crud, then finally gave up the ghost.

Excellent, thanks very much for the info.
I think I’ll more than likely try and pick up the GT3 or the Chiron, whether it be new or used.

    Thanks chaps.
I must admit the Bugatti has also sparked my interest too, also the 911 RSR.
There are still new GT3 sets out there, but like you say, they’re pretty steep.

The clowns that are Hermes. Waiting for a CRC order that they’ve been in ‘posssesion’ of for 9 days. I know it’s either stolen or lost (my money is on stolen), but it’s still infuriating. CRC have been informed….

Nothing in the UK when I was looking a fortnight ago. Bought an XX1 copper one from Bikeinn (in Spain), which took a week to arrive. £70ish posted and no customs charges (as of yet).

Better dab in of you are. Mine is scheduled for delivery second week of June. July if I wanted it with Revelations.

Not a series, but the documentary movie The Dawn Wall, is well worth the watch.

216×63 Float X does fit. Swapped out my stock DPS for one on my ‘17 130RS.

I’m afraid your name, albeit Peak Bikes or UBYK, has been greatly tarnished by this farce. I for one, will never spend my hard earned at either ever again. Thank god for buyer protection.

I have just created a case via PayPal resolution centre. I just want my money back as soon as.

Another one here who looks like I’ve been shafted out of £350 for a Hope wheel set. Been waiting 3 weeks for them and have constantly been fobbed off stating that Hope are working through a backlog of their lights.
Luckily I paid via PayPal, so I’ll be getting in touch with them Monday.
    F**king robbing sh1ts…

No, Morley is safe. I just meant that those of us that used that part in Shining Cliff for our DH bikes will probably have to relocate their as it’s not that far away.

Did a bit of digging on the FC website last night and the Forest Plan is on there for Shining Cliff and Cromford Moor. It says they’re cutting down the conifers, larch and western hemlock up in that area to be replaced with broadleaf. Apparently the conifers are invasive and they want to create diversity. It’s quite a lengthy plan by the sounds of it. Looks like it’s Morley Woods now for those of us who used that area. Such a shame after all the graft that went into building.

Great. I’ve not heard the reason why? Shame, as you tended to get left alone by the Rangers and landowners over in that part.

Breaking down in a 1970’s jingly Toyota taxi in a shanty town in Mombasa. Que locals trying to pull me and my mate out of the car while the rest of them were rocking the s##t out of it. Luckily the driver had a big stick and beat them off and then got the car started again…..I miss my days in the Royal Navy!

+1 for ditching the run flats. I made the switch on my 130i and it was night and day in difference. No more crashing over pot holes and skipping over manholes. The car feels a lot more planted. There are a lot more tyre options available to you too. I’ve ran XL 92y rated tyres since I made the swap. Just make sure you’re carrying a space saver (if you have room for one), a mobility kit or a couple of cans of tyre foam afterwards.

    Great, thanks.

I didn’t want to have to faff around for ages trying to set the damn thing up on my own.

Wipe down the area with isopropyl alcohol first to remove any left over residue, oils, bike spray etc.
Piece(s) of masking tape to gauge where/how high up the lowers you’re going to apply them, so they’re symmetrical each side.
Most importantly, make sure you are sure of the orientation of the decals before you apply them.

Ordered some Hope Shifter and a pair of TLD gloves the other week on Collect +. As soon as the shop assistant handed me the plastic mail(!) bag it was p**sing liquid out everywhere. Huge split across the bottom of the bottle resulting in a third of it being lost….oh and the trigger was missing too. Gloves were also soaking wet…
On the other hand…ordered a new bar on Thursday night (Collect + again), got a text this (Saturday) morning to say it was ready to pick up…..maybe there is hope.

I find the sizes a bit hit or miss tbh. They seem to vary a bit depending on the jersey. I take a medium in most things, but the Flow jersey I ordered a while back was almost skin tight, yet the Flex-air I have is quite roomy.
I’d say to size up to be on the safe side.

Doesn’t seem like you can choose next day delivery anymore on CRC.

You’re right. No Collect plus option available too at the moment. I emailed them last week asking what’s going off with the delivery side of things. I was told that the usual delivery options will resume once the warehouse move is complete in November.

Nice one Super…will sort this week before a couple of rides next weekend.

No probs mate, it really is a doddle.

It really is as easy as that. Like you say, wheels are already rim taped up, so it’s just a case of fitting the valves, filling them with sealant and off you go. I did mine via a compressor and they seated within seconds. They haven’t lost any air too.

Hello chaps and lasses, just joined this forum so I thought I’d upload a pic of my 2017 130 RS. Absolutely love this bike to bits! It does everything.
Anyway, I’ve only done a few mods to it, such as Easton lock-ons, Bel Air ti saddle (stock saddle too unforgiving on my bony ass), Saint pedals, Raceface crank arm protectors and converted to tubeless.
I’m not sure how the rear Trail Boss is going to handle the gloop of our winters, as I find it spins out too easy when the going gets mucky. I’ll probably swap it out for a Vigilante in fast rolling guise. That’s if any of you guys can recommend anything else?
