    Another vote for Los Caracoles.

Later, go to eSe eFe for a beer and a spot of music, and afterwards visit The Drunk Monk.

I´ve got it narrowed down to “brake less often”.

I´m sensing a conspiracy. Funnily enough I got a Conti RQ on no problem.
Just to clarify, 2ply Minion DH is the one giving me grief.

    Sorry for the hijack OP.

Maxxis Minions and Flows = broken levers and inventive swearing.
Eventually got it done, tubeless and works great, I live in fear of the day I rip the sidewall or have to get a tube in on the trail.

Any more than 4 pints of craft beer and I forget how to bike….walk, talk, function.

I do like the strong ones though.

I´ve seen that one in action, it´s a nice bike.
So much so that two other guides bought the same one.

Like that a lot, thanks. I´m gonna stick it on the telly later tonight and have a proper look.

This years biggest rise in price was the Macallan Royal Marriage whisky, so there´s no accounting for taste :P

I´ve had to skip most of this since I´m trying not to spray beer across the keyboard and screen. I will be back later. Carry on.

I grew up in the “sunny” south east of Ireland. I remember it snowing only 3 times during winters as I was going to school. Being able to throw a snowball was a big deal. I also remember being able to organise beach parties in summer, complete with electrical equipment and sound systems with no worries about the rain.

It´s been a few years since I left and apparently heavy snow is a regular winter thing now. I also lived on the west coast for a while, I don´t think it ever stops raining there. All anyone can do is sit by the fire and drink.

I´ve seen pics from when my parents lived in London during the 60´s and it´s always sunny. Course, maybe they only took the camera out on nice days.

At about 11 years old I read Treasure Island and Robinson Crusoe, they made me realise the world was bigger than I´d previously thought.

13 and I read The Hobbit, I realised the world could be much, much bigger again.

Met Miguel Indurain raising money for a local charity.
Proper gent, he took time to talk to everyone.

The new Vikings series is quite good if you get tired of re-watching old stuff.

I´d love a Pinion Helius AC but they´re just too expensive.
I don´t think I can justify 4500€ for the frame + shock but I am tempted.
Probably just as well there´s none around where I live to test ride.

I wish someone in the basque country sold decent sausages.
    They´re all pink here,not good.
The falklands, Malvinas islands are about as british as paella or curry….erm.

My brother spent that kind of money on a guitar.
Car restorers can add a few zeros to that total for their hobby.
Surfers who travel, mountain climbers after the 8k´s the list goes on.
This stuff is aimed at affluent, non pros. If you´ve got it,great.

Morocco is nice, it´s a real culture shock compared to the UK.
Who cares where anyone else has been?
If you´re both into bikes the head to the Atlas mts, you won´t meet too many tourists up there.

That needs some bmx pegs sticking out of the wheels, then it´d be perfect.

I ripped lots of vinyl to flac a few years back, it just wasn´t convenient to carry it all with me. At the same time I made 320kbp mp3 files to be able to stuff on the mp3 player. All the CD´s and DVD´s I owned were sold/given away. I see it as a dead format like cassette.

Nowadays, with cheaper memory and better players I just stick the flac files in the mp3 (Sansa Clip+).

No hate towards the itunes/Apple stuff but I try to steer away from proprietary formats, if you have an iphone I´m sure there´s an app for flac files.

Sony are as bad with their Atrac files.
    Flac is just easier,

I had really big one on my chest. Doc stuck a needle in and about halfway through said “Hmm, I´ll need a bigger needle”

It looked like something from a horror movie but apart from a bit of pressure I felt nothing.

Told to avoid strenuous exercise for a few days and keep an eye on it.
    No pics :(

    EAC & Lame

Flac format is becoming the most popular lossless file type for music.
Wav files don´t let you put tags.
Apple insist on their own lossless format (Alac), don´t bother with it.
Mediamonkey will let you convert between the lossless formats.

They´ll all sound the same if they come from the same source.

Can people not work on their gears or something?

Ive never had any issues with either sram or shimano

Same here, any problems were either bad set up (by me) or worn out chains/cassettes.
