Gen Lee + 30T Wolf Tooth ring on Hope Pro2 evo freehub with a SRAM PG1070.

Been on it a few months now and done some proper climbing with it and aside from taking a bit of time to set up the shifting (the B-screw matters) it´s been smooth sailing. You need a Med cage to reach, short cage won´t work.

I haven´t noticed more wear than normal and you quickly get used to slight hesitation in middle and top shifts. Well worth it to lose the derailleur/shifter/rings.

I previously had a Hammerschmidt which I was quite happy with but there´s a massive difference in weight compared to what I have on now.

I´ve just had one where the plates came off the rivet, only one link.
    Truly JRA aswell.

The chain was about 2 months old and on a wolf tooth 30t + general lee setup. It did have some cack-handed shifts in the begining til I settled down a bit.

Discogs is your best bet. Just use Paypal (fees paid) and even as a new user it shouldn´t be a problem if you sell there.

Also include the option to collect in person.

So why do I hate it so much?
because its the musical equivalent of being forced to fellate a smug looking Robert Kilroy silk to a soundtrack of T’Pau

Possibly the greatest comment ever made.

This is the best comparable website I´ve used: http://www.jensonusa.com/

It´s fast, easy to understand and use.
It seems to be what CRC were aiming for.
Just for kicks I checked the source code for Jenson vs. CRC´s main pages, wow, just wow.

    @CRC
From an aesthetics point of view, if anyone involved reads this: Please fix the main drop down menus (MTB, Road etc)and have them cover the animated backgrounds underneath. It just looks messy and distracting.

Unless you live in the alps or race a lot of xc I don’t think xx1 is a great idea, especially not right now. Still new and priced accordingly.

For a lot less cash you can get a 30t 104 single ring up front and a general lee cassette adapter.
I’ve been using this setup for a few months with a clutch mech and Iove it, no chain issues, no clutter and I didn’t need a new rear wheel to run the cassette
    Saint cranks here too.

Take a stroll. Let the kids loose on a playground and stop for beers and lemonades before you go home.

@c_g. Sorry to read that,I hope you get through it ok.

If you have a clean pan or griddle, then leave out the oil but the average well-used domestic frying pan will need it.

Either that or enjoy flaky black bits of teflon, ceramic etc.

Leave it out at room temp for a half hour, rub in some salt then stick it in a smoking hot pan with a little oil for about 1-2mins per side depending on thickness for med rare. (The salt soaks up some of the water released by the meat.)

Splash a bit of red wine into the pan afterwards and let it reduce a bit with the juice from the meat. Pop that on top of your now rested steak.
Season to taste. Leave the oven alone.

Doubt it. I did one a while back for a t-shirt and it involved following a fairly involved photoshop tutorial.

Find a traffic cone and stick an apple on top.
When you´re able to knock it off using the rear wheel….join a circus.

Well, if I was a terrorist bent on blowing up everyone who disagreed with me there´s a short list of Dos and Don´ts.

The Don´ts can be summed up as:
Don´t communicate via mobile phones, public phones or internet…ever.
    Avoid CCTV and airports.

I shouldn´t need to take my shoes off to further the illusion that Americans can sleep safe at night.

It does get better. You´ll find after a couple of weeks that your brain adjusts to the sound and percieves it as natural.

There are wind cancelling/compression programs and if tuned by someone who knows what their doing they work quite well.

IT DOESNT **** MATTER WHO PAYS FOR WHAT. PAYING FOR SOMETHING NEVER GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO HURT PEOPLE WHO HAVENT PAID FOR IT.

    IS THAT **** CLEAR?

I´d love a day off on some smooth machine built trails.
We don´t really have so much of that round here, miles of singletrack and scary descents but not so many hip-high berms.

It´s like everything else in life, you have to mix things up a bit now and then not to get bored.

To answer the OP, no, not groomed but then again I´ve never had that choice. If I was starting out today the nearest trail centre would be my first stop.

That will be the bottom falling out of the secondhand Hammerschmidt market just as I’m thinking of selling mine…

Same here, I´m thinking of switching to the General Lee Adapter from the XX1 post.

Any normal X7, X9 or X0 shifter will work. And it says BB included.

Those camelbaks look like they might be a bit sweaty round the waist in *summer.

*Summer is a season that happens in most countries south of the UK, also accompanied by another phenomenon: dust.

If you´ve never or rarely done jumps or drops before why on earth would you attempt them just because you´ve driven somewhere with lots of them available?

Even if you are able to manage them, sometimes you just have an “off ” day (pardon the pun) and it´s best just to take the chicken line.
