I ran 760 with bar ends for a while. Changing positions was useful because I had wrist pain from work (chef) but clipping trees on narrow trails eventually persuaded me to get rid.

There´s some horrible noise on this list (ninfan, sry mate), here are mine.

Peel em, stick em in a pot with a couple of bottles of red wine and some sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Boil and leave simmering for an hour. Serve hot or cold with thick cream or custard.

It´ll wear off, don´t worry. Most likely death grip, fear is a weird thing. That or your suspension sucks over the big stuff…

Just to add, if you´re staying in San Sebastian, hotels are pricy but Airbnb should sort that out. You can take a 30 minute train to France and back for a fiver.
Any advice needed on the pintxo front, just let me know. Every bar has something special but quite often you need to ask.

Anything that runs xbmc will be a good place to start.

I´ll second xbmc. There is a bit of a learning curve but it´s years ahead of anything else, plus it´s free.

I haven´t used a CCDB, although it looks like a world class shock.

The only thing I can offer is that the DHX5 is a solid shock and easily modifiable. I needed a less volume air canister and managed to sort it out with a bit of cardboard and some insulation tape.

The cane creek needs to be properly set up for your bike, but the problem is that few of us know how to do that. Check out Ed Oxley´s vids, he did one on sorting out a CCDB.

Castor seeds contain ricin. Less than a dozen to put your lights out, and added to a curry you wouldn´t even notice.

That pic was taken on the descent of Mt Larrun. Last of the Pyrenees, it starts off rocky as hell and later gives way to twisty mountain sheep singletrack.
It really is a full on descent, I was thinking a few easy berms and some pebbles would be a sweet change of pace.

What I wouldn´t give for a few days of groomed trails and pebbles.

I´d recommend going for a 2nd hand one with disc brakes.
A quick look through Ebay and you should find something like a Rockhopper Comp with decent spec and under your spend.

The cheaper bikes on CRC don´t seem to be much good.

Fair enough but the town hall bit was conveniently omitted from the article I read. And tbh, it wouldn´t have seemed out of character for them.

Grew up in Ireland with the whole doorman/bouncer, wrong shoes and you´re not getting in mentality.
I thought it was utter bobbins at the time and even more so now.

Having lived the last 10 years in the Basque country where, I can go out til 6am and not meet a bouncer outside every bar,nightclub and coffee shop, I´ve realised they´re not the problem, it´s the lager swilling brain-dead masses. TBH, I´d stick a 400% tax on all alcohol sold after 7pm in UK/Ireland (Lidl included).

I can´t offer any other solution, move over here, just avoid Benidorm and anywhere south of Madrid. We shold be ok for a few years yet.

Try a bit of olive oil and a proper hot oven :/
