Also, just an fyi as I’m not sure if this is how you want the forum to look.

Liking it so far, big improvement.

The Search button expanded is fine but closed is showing the magnifying glass and text mushed up.

Sorry to muddle the waters but why are you not comparing to the Sennheiser Momentum 3, the sound quality is way ahead of your two choices.

Hey. Got them, swapped them out with the Hopes I had on and so far loving the difference. On a really familiar bit of downhill track I was able to brake a bit later than previously with no issues.
The lever action is so much smoother, it takes no effort at all and one finger braking is fine, even though the lever is a a bit bigger.

Out of the box I just fit them with some tape to get the sizing right, then bled them whilst off the bike.
The bleeding process is a little longer than with other brakes if you do the whole thing, but it gave me a good result first time. I just followed the online vid from Hayes. I’m running them with Hope rotors and they fit, no rubbing.

It still has that bit of scary weirdness as the original.
I remember having to come to terms with worzel being able to switch heads. Took a while.

My Wreckoning, best bike I´ve ever owned and the main reason they see a lot less of me at the local pub. Started with the bare frame and built it up. Almost done…

Double check the thru axle and cassette bolts are tight. Seems obvious but mine loosened over time and took a while to notice.

I haven´t ridden there but I remember seeing a few guys with proper mountain bikes going up ahead of me on the cable car at Fuente Dé. That might be a good spot to start looking. I´ve been meaning to get back with the bike, it´s only a few hours up the coast from me.

Can´t bring myself to agree with you OP, but I will admit this one would turn my head.
Best looking leccy bike so far imho.

Thanks for the info. Kotor, Durmitor and Budva are on the list. I found a company that does biking in Durmitor, so I´ll report back how it goes.

Flights were ridiculously cheap, although it is Ryanair. Stanstead to Podgorica for £69 return with bags and priority check-in. I´d love to take my bike but I wouldn´t trust Ryanair with it and it´d be another £200 since we´re doing 4 seperate flights (Biarritz,Lon,Pod).

Found a nice, if a little over dramatic, video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZv-KtQal_U

If you´ve tried all the usual suspects. It might be a cracked or broken rear hub drive (mine was Pro2 Evo). It took me months to track that down.

Just saute some brocoli and pine nuts. You could do a sofrito of mushrooms, green asparagus tips and sweet onions to give it a boost. I usually cook this to go with cous cous..

The GX Eagle are available in 165mm. I´m just going to give mine another few weeks to see if I adapt to the bb height. And I´m not even in the extra low setting.

I went for an Evil Wreckoning LB with coil shock, love it so far, it has that magic carpet thing happening on long descents.

The Pivot Mach 3 looks good imo.

I just switched to a new, modern geo, low bb, 29er after years on a 26″. It´s a world of difference, both uphill and down are so much better. I can ride stuff now that I physically couldn´t before…but the pedal strikes are becoming a thing.

I´m using a sram gx eagle setup, and it´s nice, no problems, apart from the 175mm cranks. I´ve ripped the ends to pieces in just a few rides so now I´m looking for 165mm or even 160mm replacements.
If you´re getting a new bike, bear this in mind, and if you can fit them, get shorter cranks.

Another vote for Lavatrax on Tenerife, they have a bunch of different types of trails to ride. I was out there a few years back in February, lovely weather and proper guiding. I rented a Marin Wolf Ridge and it was well able for the trails.

La Palma is pretty good too but it´s a smaller island.
Here´s a nice vid of some guys riding there a few years back:

Chilli works so much better with a well brewed imperial stout.
The flavors in vodka are all wrong, there´s no balance.
A proper stout with a touch of bitterness, chocolate and coffee will showcase the heat from a chilli much more effectivly than vodka.

Botanist Islay Dry Gin by Bruichladdich

Lovely stuff, very floral and it´s made in an old Lomond still with local ingredients. A bar near me mixes it with a splash of Lagavulin added at the end, and it´s delicious.

Blame needs to be laid at the feet of the Spanish minister for health. She did absolutely nothing to ensure that correct quarantine measures would be enforced.
A classic example of an elected official not having any idea of what the job entails. Welcome to politics in Spain.
