Since the reason the gas is there in the first place is impermeable shales, in theory there is no reason for it to reach the surface, presume problems arises when the fracturing goes awry and tracks up to create a leak path or macondo style the well pipe isnt secureed/sealed properly?

depends how far away the screen is but i’d expect some splash, esp if the shower is powerful or quite a deluge, flinging arms and hair around like you are in a pantene advert

    she seems happily moved on

I believe that statistically this is the least likely ultimate outcome. More likely is her new found happpiness will implode eventually, once reality kicks in and the blokes ‘ex’ has some input. Reality will kick in for them soon enough, then we’ll see if they mistook lust for love.

I sold plenty of stuff for 99p that was worth lots more and people came looking sheepish, in the end I would rather someone came and got it than I threw it in the tip.

he doesnt need a ROT clause, he needs to confirm there was no pass/waiver of title provision. If its silent he still owns what someone didnt pay for and it cant pass to the ultimate client because the company didnt have good title. However he cantdoesnt have the right to just go and remove them, that could be trespass – if he was challenged that is….

you need to let it out and go through the emotion but not infront of her, you also need distractions like riding, drinking, seeing mates to have a laugh and stuff so you keep grounded that its a change not a disaster.
until you can cope enough to suck it up and deal with it you arent ready but do get legal advice and councelling tomorrow.
and you must sleep everything is easier to cope with after sleep but lack of sleep really screws your head up

One a week so have a ton of them. main difficuly is that driving the essentially site focussed safety culture message in an office environment ultimately gets a bit nannying – handrails, slips, standing on chairs, carrying hot coffee, crashing through doors, paper cuts…..mostly you end up focussing on the uncontrolled part of your day – when you leave work and H&S goes out the window, phones when driving, diy – hand injury, ear and eye protection, ladders etc.
For hardcore plant stuff google charlie morecroft, really puts the human element into forefront.

There’s no money in homework, you need to get her developing apps, that’s where the big buck are at. Apparently.

No, wait, thinking about that, she needs to develop a homework app, where kids bid to do other peoples homework – bit like peopleperhour – and your daughter gets 10% of each deal.

Woah, I just came up with a killer app – but I fear that I am about to be Winklevossed by 2was and his kid daughter….. :(

That is classic symptoms of a defective audio chip, if you google re-balling iphone 4 you will find it. Basically the ?bottom mic works for facetime and recorder but when you tel it actually uses 2 microphones top and bottom, compares them in an audio processing chip and cancels out any duplicate sound to provide a noise cancellation of background noise. When the audio chip becomes dislodged – no-speaky any more.

If you see the army change your route and keep clear of them.

I regularly come across army and particularly gurkahs on barossa common on my way into the back of Swinley, either waving me through with their automatic rifles, or just sitting in a ditch as I pass by! War zones have civilains wandering around so its good training for them

BTW If you want to see kids doing serious digging take a wander to the jumps in the trees on south side of M3 just of Minley Rd.

So here I am in Siberia, cold is fine except windchill making my face numb. Journey is pretty crap, even worse on way back. Off to see the hockey stadium wot Abramovich built and going to Russia’s largest refinery tomorrow – living the dream.

Thankfully no yellow or orange snow yet Drac.

Planning you just need to do a neat sketch and description and fill in the forms online – no more than that. Have you checked if it is permitted development.

As long as builder is reputable local who BC people know then you wont need anything, its done by regular inspection on notice at specific inspection points (such as foundations dug etc).

Really not that hard unless specialities involved like structural calcs and by learning it yourself you get to know what your builder should/shouldnt be doing!

Plus this thread is useless without pictures of the £250 custom build bike you built her.

Quite so, I shall remedy this asap – it has the only On-One 24’er specific carbon forks on the planet (probably…..) cue over-specified Dad build syndrome

Cheers guys – as it happpens, I got a ton of deja-vu in all this – i.e. she has inherited the dyslexia from me and I remain ‘undiagnosed’. To know that she wont have to struggle alone with this unknown difficulty that I had is brilliant.

But the extra effort she has had to do means she is a determined and strong kid. What doesn’t kill you….So it’s just simply all good. 8)

And I haven’t even told you about the half kidney she had to have out at 5yrs!

You have 2 normal issues – you can’t cope with the split and your imagination is running wild.

You have to go through the mental pain, but accept it and work around it so you dont let it dominate you like it is. Imagination works both ways – if she thinks you are having a great time, she will be thinking the same and may come back. Cut out the I miss you bit and instead tell her of the great stuff you have going on, would she like to join in.

You have a week off work – this could be best or worst. Sit at home moping or use the time to make yourself get out and things that you wont feel like doing but will bring up your endorphins, make you feel hopeful about life and happier about things generally

Either way, if you get out there you will either get here back or be in a much better place to find someone else.

Drive a disco in middle lane of 3 lane roundabout, edging into the inside lane whilst indicating left. When tooted by other drivers just put your brakes on and off semi-randomly. That way you keep all of your option open, apparently….

IIRC you can use 32h hubs but lace them twice as many spokes on the disk side (most stressed) to the non disk side.

I got a load of Phillips non-dim 7w (I think) for £5 each in sainsbury sale but I think I saw them at that price again somewhere recently and robert dyas are doing osram 2w £10 for 3 or £15 for 6.

So kitchen and bathroom went from 915w to 104w, and I am expecting much much longer life. At around £2 each for a halogen GU10 its a bargain.

Its a typical cheat on ASTs, you are not tied in for 6m you are tied in for 7m (6+1). In reality, assuming they have no other security from you you are actually tied in for howevermuch your deposit is (1m, 1.5m?)…

I have had Geoff the grinderman in a few times and he uses a serious bit of kit with a V-twin motor and it has broken a couple of times (teeth, and belt etc) because they (and you) take a right hammering. If your 8 stumps are a reasonable size or hard wood or just difficult shape etc then it will take you days with a toy grinder from a hire shop. Its not just the stump it also any horizontal roots.

Attempted annexation of the public highway, its always hilarious. Although sort of understandable.

However I seem to recall that attempting to reserve the queen’s highway by putting cones, wheelie bins etc. is an offence under the RTA, and isnt it some offence to leave your bin out when its not bin day? Byelaws and stuff.
