If you don’t want it anymore, what’s the p&p for boxing it up and sending it to me?

    http://www.screwfix.com/p/screw-extractor-set/18643

You will need to use a bit of judgement on hole size and which extractor to use. Grind off the end of the extractor so it fits right, but not too much or it just wont lead in and bight. Dont go big on the hole or it can break up and muller the hole. Dont use too small or it can snap extractor if bolt is in tight and then it requires spark erosion! Good if you can also buy a tap wrench (the other kind)to drive it squarely.

Not sure if they have cabins etc but we parked our motorhome at Camping Bleu Nicolas, right at the bottom tip if the lake. Got a pitch waterside and it is beautiful. Give them a call they might recommend somewhere if tehy dont have some.

if you look on google maps, alongside route d’annecy there is a old tarmac-ed railway line I think I goes all the way to Annecy

We also stayed at Grand Bornand site, brilliant location ,there’s a really good open air municipal pool.

I think they want to make it so difficult that most people won’t bother to complete the process.

You think? Have to claim between 15 and 30 days to qualify???

I was told that cashback is common in the US and this is Samsungs UK trial. The whole point is to get more money than it costs to run the scheme.

    Just got my validation email.

I actually like that Maico, but 20 to 30k for a crossblade is surely RM believing their own hype.

Crack will develop at a stress concentration point – I reckon that mount is stiffening the chainstay just enough that the/a root of flexing is at that point instead of the usual nearer the BB where the chainstay stiffens up.

I doubt its structural anyway, v odd place to crack.

    The opposite actually

Driveside chainstays are under cyclical lateral loading with every turn of the cranks – the chainstay resists the pull of the chain and bends slightly under the strain.
This is exactly what aluminium is intolerant of, it causes stress hardening and fatigue fracture.
If you weld it without re-tempering it (usually to t6 temper) then it will likely not last more than a few rides.

Mark Goddard-Watts started Scrfewfix and sold to Kingfisher (B&Q) after he got bored/the non-compete ran out, he started Toolstation and sold to Travis Perkins/Wickes.

What name do you think he should use for his third attempt?

The warranty terms are not absolute will they allow ‘equivalent’ or ‘latest version’. Also lifetime warranty may well be goodwill and not enforecable. The big print giveth, the small print taketh away.
Glass half full? Like said, talk to them if there’s something else available yoou prefer – also plenty of stories of people who have got an upgrade just by being nice

I got 6m + 6m extension due to ‘overrun’ of work.

‘Structural’ seemed to include uninhabitable – so I had to send them pics of the house denuded of both.

They 6m exstension was discretionary, so call them and sweet talk them.

BTW the time limit is part of the empty homes strategy so try and stop people sitting on perfectly good accomodat ion that can be used / let out.

If she told them it was in full and final settlement and it was accepted (ie. banked) then she’s in the clear.

Unfortunately this is very common but incorrect misconception

WTF. Dont take this the wrong way, but that does sound very odd and I wonder if there is more to it than your side of the story.

There has to be a trigger that has made the PM start demanding after all this time, esp. since a DCA was clearly engaged by them at the time.

FYI acceptance of payment is not waiver of right to claim – if you send a cheque for part of claimed amount stating that it is tendered in full and final settlement and they bank it, your F&F statement is irrelevant, they can still come for the rest. What you need is something in writing that they DCA accept the payment as settlement.

On face value, the PMs actions are now probably into harrassment territory and before dealing with the money issue I would be sending a businesslike but firm letter stating that you consider yourself harassed and that any further contact other than in writing to your home address and you will without warning be engaging a solicitor to get some kind of court order with costs against the PM etc.

Take your diving gear for Penmachno

Penmachno is less trails streaming with water and more streams used to make trails. Its epic.

In reality – assume you are paid up at end of each month with no retention, wait till paid then next day tell them you are leaving immediately and not working notice.

Likely you are marched off premises within 1/2hr.

End of, unless you are some kind of F1 designer and they want to take an injunction against you – they cannot make you work for them, but they can STOP you for working for someone else and/or stop someone else employing you for notice period as long as they continue to pay you. What we know as Gardening Leave.

Better to ask for forgiveness than seek permission….

Change the locks and exactly who can do what about it?

Sounds like best thing that could happen is he arrives at wrong time, cant get in, has tantrum, police called, collar felt, restraining order guaranteed.

•1 x Yellow rim sealing tape 25mm – can be cut down for narrower rims

No dont do this, if you need the 21mm tape get it.

Actually I find that quite shocking, bad Hope, bad bad Hope – is that the ex-RR approach then, flog you the wrong tape and tell you to take a knife to it?

may as well get some short crank bolts and bin the big ring tho

Get a bashguard instead. I have 22/34. Think of it as a 1×9 for the less fit – emergency low range gear to save pushing!

FFS you have expectation of others, demanding the foresight of the gods, that you fail in yourself. A bit of self flagellation is in order for you.

Problem is what you in your mind think guaranteed means is not what it actually means in the outside world. Rather like fully insured or fully guaranteed – it doesnt exist. Known as small print.

34/22 x 11/34, im not fit enough for 36 and 32 is too low, 22 because no point having a winder if you can’t wind. Also if i spin put in top i am going too fast and undoubtedly wasting gravity on a fireroad or the like. Its basically a 1×9 but with an emergency low range when you hit a wall or save you pushing an up!

Been through Kent & Sussex today and the smell is everywhere. A place I was visiting had called a gas engineer to investigate a possible leak.

mercaptans – one of the smelliest things known to man, can detect in the low single digit ppms I understand. The oil & gas coming from the east irish sea has one of the highest mercaptan content in the world, a gas release from one of BGs rigs and shore prevailing wind sets NGs call centres alight with suspected gas leak calls from the Morcambe/Blackpool area!

Similar senario, smashed both fronts age 12. Jaw is being drilled later this month for a titanium implant for one as dies 20 yrs ago and the root finally cracked recently. The other is alive and hanging on but needs pushing up so I have scaffolding on for a couple of years now. Not sure why i’m bothering, not like I’m that pretty anyway

Checkout Avenir/Raleigh trousers, only ones long enough for long legs. Really well made with strap at bottom and can sometimes be had for as cheap as the army surplus.

IIRC at least one reason for Pro2 EVO is the inherent weakness of the 12mm axle on original Pro2. The smaller bearings in the original mean the axle has to be made too thin.

Not personal experience, just what I have read.
