    What are they, bleedin mindreaders?
Despite having the wrong address they’ve tried to deliver three times- to you or the wrong address?
You have the tracking number, so phone up parcelforce and the post office and find out where the wheels are.
If you’re not able to use a phone, get down the PO depot with the tracking number and they will tell you where they are.
It may save you a bit of travelling.

8 weeks seems to be the norm. They want picked up actually closer to 7 than 8 (is between the two) because they have another litter due (another mum obviously) and you can no more control the actual date the pups are born than you can control when the other mum is in season. I don’t think its anything ‘sinister’ tbh. And someone elsewhere has suggested that 6-8 weeks may be optimum for socialisation; too early and pup isn’t properly weaned but too late and they may have more issues settling.

Berlingos have the most uncomfortable seats ever! You will most certainly notice this after the Forester. I did!
Even the 2.0HDI is slow. You can get a chip, but it doesn’t work on the Bosch ECUs, only Siemens.
Forget it. you will never take to it after driving a decent car. Even the ” ooh, it has cubby holes everywhere, aren’t the frogs clever!” is bullshit.
I sold mine within a month. The missus hated it, my daughter hated it, my Jack Russell hated it with a passion. She couldn’t see out of the windows and the bench seats were so narrrow she’d fall off.

Oh, and they’re not that economical either; 40mpg max compared to nearly 50 for the Rover 75 that followed .

Oh, and for some reason it cost £100 more to insure than a modified Forester S-turbo…

USPS from the US will be $75 ish, but there are size limits. A 21″ hardtail will easily fit, but not sure of a susser. Check on http://www.usps.com It takes about 2 weeks.
Canada Post will be MUCH more expensive, about 3 times the price, minimum, so if your auntie can post from the US then good!

Duty will be 20% VAT + 5% duty for bicycle components. Complete bikes attract 20% VAT +15% duty…

They use a self extracting bolt system , same as all the old ones, but from memory there is a smaller allen head inside the larger outer one
The big grub screws on the end are dummy so don’t touch them.
Undo the non drive side (I think) big nut and have a look. It should be self explanetary.
    Are they for sale?

“How exactly does a banking system work if you are not obliged to meet repayments that you agreed to, who picks up the shortfall in these situations?”
    er, yes; who indeed?

Coffee machines are great when you have to make endless cups of coffee quickly, like in a cafe. For your morning jolt you’ll get better results using an espresso pot.

It may well now be a largely muslim christian country thanks to the influx of refugees from less pleasant regimes, and all the shit that hospitality brings…

    USof A

What shit has the USA had to endure because of an influx of refugees. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re imp, lying that immigrants from south of the border are a burden on the Union? How so?

    Albania, Turkey, Lebanon, Indonesia, Malaysia
Turkey is officially secular, Lebanon is Christian. Albania, Malaysia? tolerant of homosexuality?

Looks like I was wrong on Malaysia, not Albania though.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_Albania

Lebanon is majority Muslim, as is Turkey, even if they aren’t officially Muslim countries. US is technically secular but I’d still call it a Christian country.

The US is officially secular – I believe it’s drafted into the constitution- though the power and influence the church(es) have is just plain scary!
That is in total contrast to the UK, which is officially an Anglican country , yet no-one really gives a toss what the Church believes, and we’re all the better for it!
Regarding Lebanon: It is a “Christian” country, though was once regarded as the playground of the Middle East, with the tolerance that label implies. It may well now be a largely muslim country thanks to the influx of refugees from less pleasant regimes, and all the shit that hospitality brings…

    Catholic:

    Spain
    Portugal
    Italy
    Poland
    Belgium

    Muslim:

    Tunisia
    Morocco
    Jordan
    Turkmenistan
    Uzbekistan

I think you need to research a little deeper, especially on the Muslim countries…

The Church of England is irrelevant already. If it wasn’t part of the “establishment” it would be totally irrelevant.
Could be worse though; just imagine if Britain was a Catholic or Muslim peasant country, instead of tolerant , and effectively, secular…

Golden Doodles? Lovely dogs, often mistaken for a man in a dog suit!
A lot of you guys are talking right out of your arses though; mistaking a dog being responsive to your commands to being “intelligent”. The dog thinks you’re smart enough to give the orders; you think the dog is smart to follow them. There’s a slight problem with this rationale…
Smart dogs are smart enough to think for themseleves and ignore their fikko “owners”!

How about a Red Fell? Biggest little dogs around! This is Louis; Scared of nuffin, yet the gentlset dog around children. Up for anything, wants to know whats going on and needs to be a part of it. Just like an old fashioned Border. Trouble is, Borders are, lie Westies, becoming a victim of their own popularity. Lazy breeding means that some are losing their character and toughness. Patterdales don’t suffer from that… yet.

If testing every 5/10 years is made compulsory, we might even find that insurance costs go down as people re-learn how to drive properly.
15 years to the day after passing my driving test I passed my motorbike test. During my 1st week on two wheels for a long while, I found it very scary to realise how much I had forgotten/never knew/ thought I knew.

Never mind old people; the number of drivers I’ve seen texting recently is shocking. It should deserve a year’s ban , at least.
And compulsory auction of their car, whoever it belongs to! :P

Totally useless, but probably best of a bad bunch.
Five years ago they spent 6 months camped at the bottom of my drive installing “the next generation of broadband, fibre optic cables!” Can I get this service yet, five years on?
Nope! At certain times of day my service is little quicker than dial up, depending on how many kids are doing their homework or watching tit flix.
One problem is that their Indian call centre staff are so sure they have the answer to your problems they won’t progress any complaints.
I have 6 months left on my contract. I a,lways swear I won’t renew it, but this time I mean it.

Try NFU. They have regional offices and will have considerable experience of Listed Buildings I would imagine given the number of old or listed farm buildings/houses around.

    N. F. U. should be a clue!
