I don’t think I’ve seen one bigger than a foot long for about 20 years…

If deposit is not in DPS I believe there are swingeing penalties for the landlord.

I moved out of my previous place in December, having been there for 6 years. The landlord claimed over £1200 of “damages” from the deposit re dirty carpets, filthy fridge, etc…

The DPS ruled that while it was doubtless grubby when I left, it was also grubby when I arrived…

    Landlord was awarded £50…

Lose the gears!  Singlespeed makes you re-assess your riding.

That and yoga keeps me svelte. I would swim in the sea too, but its full of shit!

“You sent it to the given address. They have confirmed they have it. Not your problem if the buyer can’t collect…

Totally wrong. If the address and delivery information provided by the buyer and ebay were correct and you modified that to such an extent that it cannot be delivered/collected, that’s 100% your problem.”

    I shall have to watchit!

I send stuff sold on ebay several times a week to the given address minus all the confusing crap that ebay add. It always gets there…

Has the childminder thought of the Pup’s welfare?Being immersed in the midst of god knows how many exciteable kids, presumably without its own safe space, ain’t going to be fun, and it may well nip. Puppies do. There may be no malice in their nips but it’ll only take one injured kid and one irate parent to brand it a wrong ‘un…

Most Honey probably is adulterated, but local raw honey is a world apart from the shit you buy at Tesco..

Yup, I have along with a few other things…
Back at the end of March I cut out Alcohol, Wheat, salt and sugar, and bacon…
I didn’tthink I’d be able to do it but it was no harder than quitting fags.
Quitting sugar meant a change in habit. Gone were the cups of tea I thrived on as tea without half a spoonful is revolting. I swapped to Ginger with lemon or lime juice. So caffeine was out too…
I have since relaxed a little with regard to the other things but sugar is still out and will stay out! I do have half a spoonful of local honey with my porridge (for hayfever reasons, honest!), and plenty of fruit and nuts, but nothing refined.
I feel so much better! Sleeping much better but not having any vivid dreams yet…
10kg lost, 5 to go until I am the same weight I was at 40….
    Do it! Bread is harder….
But don’t rule out the effect an enthusiastic partner can have…

Seriously, the MTB will be miles better. There are a plethora of offroad pedals, which have yet to say hello to the “hordes”, but very few interesting roads which aren’t snarled up. Norfolk it aint….

    Check out Bonrtager tyres.
I’ve used Vittoria for the last 5 years but since moving from the North Downs to Brighton at Christmas I have suffered a lot of punctures on the sussex flint. Following a terminal puncture I popped on a BonedraggerXR3 which has a similar tread but is over 100gm lighter. I wasn’t expecting it to last long but I haven’t had a puncture since (riding just about every day) !

if it’s designed and made well you may notice a difference. if it’s a cynical marketing ploy, then no you won’t! How much is the price difference?

Go to Wickes or wherever and get some of that pipe insulation. Wrap the frame in it wherever there is the slightest possibility of anything rubbing. If it can rub, it will rub!
Strap any loose items to the insulated frame.
DO NOT ALLOW ANYTHING TO RUB OR MOVE ABOUT!
put it in a bike box purloined from your local bike shop and protect sharp corners. pack any voids with scrunched up newspaper and await collection….
Get a receipt/signature from the courier to prove it was collected and the job’s a good’un!

My bouncy bike has a DT Swiss EXM 150, from a few years back, fitted. push down on a knob on the top of a leg and itlowers 25% and firms up considerably. Maybe you need something similar?
It has a Blow off valve for unintended big hits in the lowered state, and no hoses or cables going anywhere…

A few years ago, when I were a lad, we xpent a couple of weeks in the Canary Islands and another 4 weeks pedalling up through Spain, which is not exactly a flat country…
We then got the ferry from Santander to Plymouth. In order to save a fiver on the train fare back to London we cycled from Plymouth to Exeter across dartmoor. It was the hardest cycling of the whole trip! Up, down, up,down… Impossible to find a rhythm. Have fun!

    Used to be transferwise…

I’ve used it a few times for 6 digit sums with no problems, transferred same day.
