Subarus have totally flat load spaces with the seats are down. Not sure about the alternatives, but putting the seats down or up takes 10 seconds. On my old Merc it took 10 minutes…
Not sure where you are but I’m thinking of selling my Outback (I know I’ll regret it), in Surrey. Cosmetically challenged body but perfect 80k mechanicals…
I’m not sure how Clearscore works, whether it is a ratings agency itself or just takes information from Equifax, Experian, etc, but contact them to see what can be done.
Somewhere in here will be the info you need: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=257
The other negative was about an outstanding loan debt from a long time ago.
How long ago? If more than 6 years old this debt would have been absent from your credit report. Your contacting them would have re-opened it…
Phone up the credit scorer. It may be possible to have a note added to your file that you have cleared all debts as required voluntarily. Or it may not…
Money saving expert will have good advice.
Luckily the buyer had only made an offer and no more. If they had employed solicitors etc. then yes I would be liable to pay their fees.
You may feel morally liable to pay their fees but legally I don’t think so.
Renton, check you estate agents contract. You may be liable to pay their fee if you withdraw from the sale to a proceedable buyer they have found you.
The only house I covet belongs to some clients of mine in Friday Street near Dorking.
They started building it in 1966 but only finished it about 5 years ago. It still has the 60’s Scandinavian decor focused on a massive woodburner that originally provided all the heating and hot water. Solar and ground source have now been added.
I got snowed in there one evening and they couldn’t get out of London. It was very spooky!
Location is everything though. I’m currently looking for somewhere in the mountains to build a small gaff with a view, with no neighbours but a short ride to civilisation…
There’s always the option of flying torpedo and depth-charge carrying maritime patrol craft overhead to show that we still maintain an airborne anti-ship deterrent, something like our Nimr…oh. Clever Dave scrapped those in 2010 too, didn’t he?
I’m sure we have a Fairey Swordfish or two knocking about…
Ex girlfriends Father came round yesterday he’s an architect and quoted £1250 for loft and £1250 for extension plans , wasn’t open to any of our ideas (
He still hasn’t forgiven you!
If he won’t listen to what the client wants, Bin him!
The Aga, silly!
Fridges provide a bit of heat but I’d still want a rad in my kitchen and in the hall.
I’d insist on both, as agreed.
It may be that one or the other are going to be awkward…
I was wondering if a high-volume track pump would work well. Anyone tried?
Yup, I use an MTB specific one (forget the name, wider bore, higher volume) and it works out at about 10 strokes per psi on a 215/55/17 tyre. nae bother.
I’d keep the tenancy as it is, complete with husband liable for shortfalls. The wife may struggle to pay the rent on her own through, presumably, no fault of her own.
Gives you the option of chasing him if need be.
If your bath is slow draining I can heartily recommend pouring a bottle of Tesco plug’ole cleaner down it and leaving for an hour or two. It’s basically a caustic soda gel, so needs to be treated with respect, but dissolves “hair and soap” ! Maybe even a Fatberg too.
Can’t help on the boiler
Don’t forget just how good the handling is on a Macan. It maybe a lump but the reviews all agree the handling is exceptional & that’s before you take into the account its an SUV.
Not quite. From your post above, Autocar reckon it’s excellent “for a two ton SUV” .
I think that means they’re qualifying their praise; in fact it’s “very nearly amazing”!
“For a two-tonne 4×4, it’s remarkable how poised, taut, balanced and plain enjoyable to drive the Macan is. It’s very nearly amazing. There is a cutting edge to its dynamic make-up that no other SUV on the market can approach, never mind equal – and you need a really good rear-drive sports saloon or two-seater to beat it.”
