Is the usb-c to hdmi dongle a generic one? I’ve had a few different usb-c and hdmi dongles just stop working after a few months. With Dell, Samsung, HP lappies over last 10 years. Internet said the laptop was expecting the dongle to do some work and would stop talking to it.

I pinched the one that came with my wife’s HP lappy. Ended up buying a second one (HP USB-C to HDMI 2.0 adapter). Not had a problem in >2 years of daily use plugged into Lenovo (locked down work one) and then personal Dell laptop. I run 4k at 60hz over it and 2K at 165hz through a Dell branded hdmi to dp one. So I recommend any Dell, HP branded one.

Our Crosswater unit has a small flat head valve on both inlets. The one page instruction manual does not mention them. They were not fully open when we fitted it. Does yours have some?
They are not the quarter turn valves I’m used to. Also face outwards so you need holes in the tiles to adjust them when fitted.

Yeah get them checked out if they suddenly appear. Especially if you used to fire rifles or shotguns for a living.

Yes all down to patience, lighting and dust free environment.
It’s good stuff and you can remove it and re-apply it many times. Having a heat gun is handy too.
Took me about 5 hrs to do a full frame kit. Makes 175 quid look like a good deal.

Doesn’t Spartan make you do burpees if you fail an obstacle?… Practice burpees!

Also find a local OCR place, technique is the key.

Firstly get a share isa so you don’t get taxed.
Secondly, Can I vote for ii.co.uk? Great share and fund access.
I agree with others that have said buy funds.
Also check charges as HL typically take a percentage charge for transactions whereas ii charge a flat rate which includes some free trades. At some point the flat rate will be cheaper.
PS-new ii app OK on Android

Chips away don’t use paint codes they colour match using a scanner. Don’t know if they will have suitable paint though?

The wheels aren’t Mavic are they? They seem to have had issues for years with some piece of non-structural metal used during manufacture of rims coming lose and rattling around at low speed.

PM me, I’ve got a bent mech that’s not been binned yet. I can send you the bolt in the post providing you don’t mind the longer shoulder it will have.

Op, please go and get a second opinion. We have a place near us that said my sons teeth were not bad enough for NHS and offered a 2.5k solution.
I felt that I was being given the hard sell on the fancy braces including finance options.
Anyway, went to a different orthodontist and surprise suprise they measured a gap elsewhere and now he has braces on NHS.

As tonyd says some trail shoes provide more support than others but won’t totally stop pronation on tarmac.
I found Brooks trail shoes gave me more support when I was videoed on a treadmill but I only really wear them when I’m on uneven ground.
Mud or wet ground Salomon speedcross have amazing grip, more support and take an anti pronate insole.
When I’m going to be on hard pack or grass in dry ish conditions I’ll always go back to my Brooks Adrenaline GTS as the comfort is great, grip is good and the pronate support is perfect for me. Do have to watch out for mud and stones build up though.

I would check the time and date on the TV just in case it is way out. Then make sure you shutdown the TV and unplug it before starting it up again.
There is a problem like this with BT routers which is fixed with a reboot but you’ve done that already with the replacement.
If it’s an old TV maybe change the WiFi password removing special characters and only using letters and numbers. I’ve not had this problem for a long time so if the TV is less than ten years old ignore.

Check if you have or can have XMP enabled in the bios. The ram could already be running much faster than standard or you could have the option of buying much faster Ram. Then plan accordingly you don’t want to add some more and notice a performance drop.

Don’t take anyone’s opinion on how good or bad the wrist and chest straps are. I think it’s a very individual thing. The wrist sensor was the problem for me. It had to be worn so far up my arm for a realistic reading it would never stay there. The first ten mins of readings were so bad, greater than 220.

My watch was saying I was spending too much time in the red. Max HR was 218 on a ride. It had my fitness age as 74.
I started wearing the chest strap and low and behold, only seconds spent in red zone, max HR 151, fitness age 20. Now I can use the PTE, EPOC and recovery data.

Agree with the above comment about the kit not really being important but I would say that the quality of the lenses is. Especially in low light. All the DSLRs will have all of the key functions she will need. I would consider going for an older body if you have older pro lenses. Obviously the newer lenses have a lot of features that the body uses but I know the D1/D1x you mentioned was fine with the older manual lenses. If you do go for an older body check it has a charger and that you can get the batteries…which won’t last long.
Also the older cameras RAW photos can be read by the cheaper editing software (e.g. RawTherapee) the newer the camera the more expenses the editing software due to licensing.

Don’t think you are meant to wear polarised lens while driving/operating machinery because they can hide displays/warnings on the dash. That said they are great for this time of year.

Sounds like the turbos EGR valve is on its way out. Just not enough for the ecu to notice yet. Try cleaning it but that has never worked for me on GM petrol cars.

Just to say a good word for Intense. 9 or so years back when the Tracer VP rears were cracking they replace my second hand for free. It was the UK importer that was adding a massive handling charge.
They must believe this is not a design issue.

Could try new bolts as they are pretty soft. I’ve also used a small amount of loctite red on frame bolts before, never needed a torch to get them off but it’s a risk.

They do have a Web app called sports tracker but the navigation is worse than moves count (unless you just want to map your run).
It does seem like Suunto no longer support real navigation, where there are no footpaths and where you want to upload a route with named way points.
If you really want proper navigation I’d look at a Google gear type watch and buy the ViewRanger app for it.

I think ossify has it Ctl + leftshift will change language to a left to right language. Also you should delete Chrome’s autofill database (advanced settings>autofill>delete) as it will remember your backwards searches.

Could be a firmware issue which manages charging even when powered off.
Try clearing the cache partition moto instructions

Also if it’s only a year old you can send it back for repair.

Tip – put onion in the soup maker first, starchy stuff highest otherwise it sticks and burns to the bottom of the soup maker.

Mushroom soup – chop up; 1 onion, punnet of fav mushrooms, 1 potato, handful of basil and veg stock cube. Top up with water to max mark.

It reminds me of an ultra wide scsi connector.  It’s strange that an IDE is on the other end though.  Fifteen years ago a board of uwscsi sockets / hard drive rack would have been available and cheap.  They may have used it for IDE drives.

Found Proxies are softer and cheaper than F1s but Potenza RE050a are even better (may be 25 quid a corner cheaper than Goodyear). Never tried Continental tho.

Edit-scrub all the above you won’t get anywhere near 25k put of Proxies or Potenzas. Therefore the goodyears are way cheaper. I only get 11k out of my Potenzas.

PS- check you don’t need XL many family size cars do now.

Can you still formally warn him to keep off your property (has to be letter) and then get him done for trespass next time he steps on the drive?

It’s what shops used to do with thieves as it was treated much more harshly than repeated theft.

Just some points on what to use. Defo use a filter as chlorine and UV can’t kill cryptosporidium and then use UV or chlorine if the filter can’t touch viruses and most can’t.

Wouldn’t use a UV pen on its own because of cryptosporidium above and also because its only effective if the turbidity is <5 (as the bugs hide in the shadow of the floaters) and the human eye can only identify a turbidity of >20.
