Hoping I can finish this in time for the summer or holiday plans may have to change. Family of 4 and have been buying bigger tents as children came along then bought a trailer tent and we were like a small village. We decided we wanted to travel around more rather than stay in the same place all holday so hopefully this is going to be the answer.

You need to do a class 2 test first nowadays and a theory I think, allow about £1500 to £2000. I took mine in 1992 my parents gave my £1000 for my 21st, thought it may come in handy and it has now and again.

Thanks Brant, angle tolerance is tighter than I thought it might be and probably tighter than dimensions.

Earlier this year I had a frame (reasonably expensive) that I thought was out of alignment. After speaking to the company they told me how and where to measure the frame and what dims to expect. All ended up ok in the end but it left me wondering when manufacturers quote dims and angles and people talk about the difference between angles making for a better “feel” is it because it was what they wanted they felt it rode great? Also is it possible that headsets to adjust the angle were developed to compensate for the frame angle inaccuracy.

GW thats my point, if the angles differ like dims do then most frames with quoted angles within a couple of degrees will probably ride equally as well as the other.

No tips for binmen here in Leeds, people may have a short memory they were striking you know and caused a lot of inconvenience. Post doesnt arrive till after lunchtime so nothing again. These are excuses only even without the strike and an earlier delivery I would not tip. I don’t remember seeing plus tips in the job description for either.

Quite a lot of people showing an interest or would like to have a go. My question is what sort of value do people consider appropriate for the service? I ask purely out of interest so as to try and guage what people consider value for money against service offered.

This will sound a bit sad but the other night on QVC (wife watches not me) they were selling a Kodak scanner that does exactly what you want. Use it and sell it afterwards possibly. I think is was about £100

The slapper they put on the news who said he used to use her “services” astounded me how anyone could rise to the occasion her being so ugly and that.

not sure what the good stainless refered to above is, 316 is good, but isnt shiny and pretty like the stuff they make kitchens out of!

316 refers to the nickel and chromium content from memory 304 grade is cheaper quality but more common than 316. The finish is down to polishing mill finish just grey looking satin finish has agrain to it then mirror finish or ba finish all the finishes can be obtained with nearly all grades of stainless it is just polishing processes

Redthunder the second one down looks like a Fieldfare. “In the UK as a passage migrant and winter visitor”. Quote taken from grittyshaker or brightaire@blogspot. My brother we had one in our garden yesterday and I had to ask him what it is.

not sure how long it can have been off for but a tip is to if its in the house turn the heating up a bit when you go away, new fridge freezers turn off in cold weather, or if in a garage or shed put a light on next to the workings this should keep it warmer and stop it going off in cold weather.

red is 10 amp yellow is 20amp if you put the red one in the same will happen again it will blow the fuse. Release the wipers from the screen on frosty mornings before trying to use the wipers this will prevent blowing of fuse.

Put a magnet to it if it sticks shit stainless or something ferrous behind like a screw or framework. If it does not stick decent stainless. If it is a satin finish youmay well get away with using a green scrubby but always go with the grain that would have to be last resort though as you may need to do the whole door to make it look ok again.

We have a tin of roses that we told the kids “not till christmas day” but have been scoffing on an evening. The look on their faces on christmas day when they open it to find just one left is going to funny.

Going back to the engine running with no occupant debate. There are approved systems that you can fit to almost any vehicle that will enable you to run the engine without the keys being in the ignition. Manufacturers like Siemens and Zeta systems to name but 2. These systems are commonly used on blue light vehicles to enable them to use lighting and other installed systems without flattening the battery while the occupants deal with the incident. In a nut shell not illegal. I have fitted a large number over the years to specialist vehicles all without a problem because the vehicle cannot be stolen whilst the system is in operation. As woody says

Only a guess so don’t shoot me but it might be your ticker not being able to pump blood to the extremeties when you exercise as it is doing its best keeping the essentials going, so gloves may not be the answer. Frustrating as it must be listen to your body.

The moral high ground only works if both parties have morals. To me that is just plain ignorant do what you like they seem to need a good shake up.

Chain is more than likely blunt they can be sharpened or just get a new one they arent expensive and still have the old one sharpened as a spare. Does it use the chain lube if not it could indicate a blockage causing the chain to overheat and is now blunt. Have you been cutting close to the ground and possibly caught the teeth on a wall or in the ground this could cause the chain to blunt. Depending on type of wood you are cutting try not to have it on full throttle too fast through hard wood can cause blunting too.

I think his wife said the fluff could catch on fire. People please make sure when cleaning your belly button to dispose of the contents in an appropriate manner. I would recommend submerging said contents in water first.

I have unfortunately been knocked off by a driver who used the excuse ” sorry I could not see you the sun was in my eyes” as if that made it allright and she was blameless. Cobblers she was to blame. Also a very near miss where the guy said ” sorry i have been up all night with my son and im very tired. Neither are excuses as tj states there is always blame to apportion sometimes to both parties
