We stayed at the Black Bull pub reasonably priced and will store your bike in a store room cum pantry, we decided to eat somewhere else as the store room was a little grotty and next to the kitchen! Rooms were good with hair dryer for drying out shoes and clothes! Breakfast was good so we may have been a little hasty eating somewhere else. Beer was good.

I did it last year with grittyshaker off here in 2 days at the back end of june. First day Morecambe to Boroughbridge got a train from Saltaire station and arrived in Morecambe just after 9 and rode with the wind on our backs steadily to Boroughbridge for about 6pm with stops for lunch faffing and flooded roads. Second day Boroughbridge to Bridlington, pretty much all flat easy riding with slight detour round flooding in York. then Train back from Brid to Leeds. If you want to stop and look around a bit i’d suggest doing it over 3 days.

Capital Typhoon from Ellis Briggs snapped 3 piece crank on numerous occasions eventually told them I wanted a replacement cos riding to the bike shop every other week with your trainer tied to the pedal by its lace to have it repaired was not on. Then got a Peugeot something or other. Always hankered after a DP Firebird Freestyler and been looking for 1 recently. The other year a guy was walking an immaculate Skyway TA through the park with his missus when I started talking to him about it his misses’ eyes just rolled round the back of her head

Left school with nothing never wanted to be three, Royal Navy recruitment turned up at school and I thought that looks ok so passed entry to be an Air Engineering Mechanic as a boy sailor 16 years old. Too much discipline for me so left after 6 months longest time i could have left it without giving 18 months notice or getting thrown out. Worked as a sheet metal worker went to night school qualified as a sheet metal worker. Always good practically so worked as a mechanic for a bit and making bespoke light fittings for another firm. Been making Jiffy Catering Trucks for the past 20 years now but less and less metal work now installing transport refrigeration, diesel fired heating, 240/12 volt elecrical systems, LPG fired catering equipment, basically whatever the customer wants I get asked to make it work on a vehicle and deal with the customer with any issues in the future. My title is development manager for what its worth. I also too my class 1 licence at 21 so get to deliver the customers new vehicles too. Most recently built myself a campervan so the company decided it would be a good idea to diversify because times have been tough and I get to build, sell, quote, order parts, basically everything for this side of the business for nothing extra. I want a new challenge but not sure where my skills fit in with other companies. Being ground down about your abilities for 20 years takes its toll

Just looked at the sign up on entry central and there are now 960 entries from 710 so if you werent on the list you may well be now.

Looking at the list it seems about 700 entries are on the list my brother was 306 at the time they suspended entries so I guess its slowly getting sorted and ammended, good luck. It does state the servers are capable of handling over 10000 people so I guess more than tried to register at once causing problems. Can we blame the Olympics and Brad Wiggins?

Im in after numerous attempts error 400 and 500 but it seems unless you get past that then your not in number 296 not sure how many entries they take but good luck.

Most recent was a guy at work bed his own bed and had it coated by them but have had gates and railings done in the past always pretty good and seems to last better than some other companies we have used. You could always try peaties at Rawdon for comparison. I would recommend masking threads yourself so as not to leaving anything to chance but thats just a personal thing.

Think yourself fortunate last wednesday evening coming home from work a car tried passing me on a swing bridge its single file I dont remember anything else. Witness statement says he tried to get passed hit me and I stayed up right so had another go after the bridge putting me over the bonnet driving off leaving me in the gutter unconcious for 20mins. No reg number just a description of the car 2 days in hospital cuts and bruises and a large bill for bike and clothing all on my insurance. Be very careful.

This is what its about, in a world of your own making, suffering not knowing left from right everything turning black and white, wondering how long is left when can I stop I cant keep this pace up or ride up that incline another time. 5 mins after the end your thinking of when the next race is.

sancho Ian Taylor last sunday at Dirtwheels swapped to his mtb on a not very tech course. Its been my first year doing cx and what a great time im having. It teaches you to be a better bike handler, pace yourself, cough blood, ride harder, get fitter, and is very friendly. I would say give it a go even on a mountain bike you would have a good time, you could be lucky enough to end up battling with chipps or should he be known as frites while in cx mode!. 40 mins or an hour means you can nip out race and get back home and still have time to fit something else in to the day. The only down side is waiting a few days to see how bad you have done and the amount of washing the bike/clothes is needed when you start training in the loosest sense of the word. Have a go what have you got to loose

I had this problem about a year ago with a wb 240 and it was the diaphram in the diverter valve it had a little tear in it and had perished. Im not a plumber and dont know the difference between your model and mine but hope this is of help. I did however have to replace quite a few other seals as a result of disturbing things while doing the repair I supose this is par for the course with a 15+ year old boiler. I got an exploded diagram of the boiler and part numbers from the wb website.

Cab bunk for a T5 is ideal for little ones they go across the front seats and rest on the door tops. as for storage well Ive just built this with plenty of room http://cateringtrucks.co.uk/our-fleet/jiffy-campers as for preferance pop top but either Reimo or SCA both are proven over time and come with TUV certification

I’d vote for Rawdon cos I live there. Great riding from the door be it road or off road. Everywhere else is full of bottom dwellers.

Many years ago heading in to Salford along the M602 I spotted on the opposite banking lots of bags of compost thinking a wagon must have shed its load when I went back I stopped and helped myself to a couple of large bags. It was only a week or so later when once again heading into salford I noticed the council had planted some spring flower beds on the banking where I found the shed load.

Trout you possibly need to ride with the staffers call round for coffee now and then schmmoooz up to them make them feel important that may help. Second thoughts just do what you are doing you don’t need them, ask for the light back. Common courtesy should have prevailed and they should have sent it back if they didn’t intend to use it or maybe they think they can do as they please.

I think the mag needs to relate better to the readers also, I have noticed over the last few months that it all feels a bit clique, I scratch your back you scratch mine. Contributors all mates together. Now i’m no where near capable of writing an article or review so maybe i’m talking out of turn and if so sorry. Maybe some reviews can be done by capable STW members for a change it may give a feeling of inclusion or real life testing. STW used to do a sticker can’t remember how it went fully but something on the lines of the worlds biggest clique, now tongue in cheek thats fine but when the readership feels they are on the outside it’s not good. Sorry for waffling im shit at writing what I think. Lastly I may be able to afford some of the reviewed products if I had my 10% discount card

Give them a call they are really helpful. I fit the dual fuel classic in vehicles at work great machines. Adrian is the owner but you will probably get through to Hayley just ask them 01213285757. They are a British manufactured/assembled product, they even sell them to the Italians.
