never mind little toe, it was as cold as I can remember going through Guiseley at 6.30 this morning. Odd thing was 1 mile further on and going down hollins hill it was not at all cold weird. My winkle did not recover for ages after getting to work. I use the term "lion cold" for this type of weather just look down and you may see what I mean lions mane and all that.

been riding yeadon, otley, ilkley, askwith, pool, panal, arthington and back to yeadon via otley and guiseley for the last week. All on the road and no incidents yet just **** cold. The snow around the washburn valley seems to have just about gone so may be ok. Just the usual mud to contend with.

My cousin has one in his backgarden. The next door neighbour laughs at them when they use it saying " it looks like a pan potatoes on the boil" Makes me laugh when ever anyone comments about them.

Most element faults are faul to earth which means it should trip the RCCB when switched on. More likely to be a temp sensor that has failed. They are found around the back of the oven with two wires going to them from the thermostst to the element. Bridge the two wires together to see if it starts to work if it does replace faulty sensor.

What sort of toilet can't remove a rounded bolt? Not exactly rocket science especially when it couldn't have been that bad if it only took 3 secs to remove. A fair price for getting an incompitent out of the preverbial. Learn to use tools properly and stop moaning.

phyncra I got the same bums rush from the saturday crew once so went and told them and they didn't seem too bothered so went elsewhere. Other times they have been great so still use them and they do hold good stock if not always the cheapest. I do try to spread what little wealth I have around the local shops if possible the downside is you are seen to not spend often with one particular shop so they are a bit reluctant to deal.

We rent out catering vhicles and we have trackers fitted with the ability to text a message to the tracker to immobilise the vehicle should the customer not pay the rent. Not had to use it yet fortunately but could be quite an amusing phone call from the customer if we do.

Is there any documentation regarding people becoming more agresive/assertive during exercise. Curious if raising the heart rate/blood pressure reduces your tolerance to other peoples actions leading to cyclists barating drivers. I find myself more relaxed while driving than cycling, but this is only when cycling in traffic when on trails or out in the open I feel relaxed.

Juan whilst overtaking a lorry it indicates to turn left. Can you see the wagons left hand indicator if think not. As for over taking the bin lorry before you started over taking could you see down the nearside to see if there were any stationary vehicles? As a wagon driver I would expect to pull round stationary obsticles, not have to stop and then pull round trying to build up speed again. Read the road, you are taught on your test to make prorgess.

dezb its not about aportioning blame its understanding each others requirments to travel on the road safely. If the driver can see you he can manouvre accordingly if you are out of site it becomes a problem.

As a commuter and HGV driver I can only say If you put a driver on a bike he would not put himself in any of the dangerous road positions adopted by a large number of commuters, it's about knowledge and experience. People need educating and then if they choose to ignore this it is their decision. Sit a cyclist in a wagon around a city centre and see what he has to contend with they may just get some understanding then. I think I saw aprogram where they got a class of school children in the area of a wagon blind spot! As for passing on the outside as soon as you overlap the trailer you have no idea what direction the wagon is going you are not going fast enough to pass the length safely. If you choose to pass make sure you can see the driver in the mirrors spend as little time in his blind spot as possible. Lastly left hand drive wagons can make passing even more dangerous look at the number plate and act accordingly.
