I reckon they missed a trick and should have released all the details today as it is the first day of spring.

Never believe the scales I learnt this in 1987 at the age of 16 on an expedition to India while taking an internal flight we had to weigh our luggage, so as not to incur excess baggage charges one member of the team wedged his heal under the weighing scale plate and each time a bag was placed on the scale he would just move his foot slightly so it looked like the scales were working correctly. I now wish someone would do the same for me when I’m weighing myself

I think it’s always worth reporting an incident not for insurance purposes necessarily but the police may like to just call and have a word make him aware of the severity of whats happened, the next person he doesn’t see might not be so lucky. Also statistics purposes, isn’t this one of the factors taken in to account when trying to improve cycling infrastructure?

Lemonysam samuri I stareted racing cx last september Yorkshire series only ever done 2 mayhems before. Im 41 and have always been too nervous to race through fear of being rubbish. There is a full spectrum of riders just give it a go is what I say wish I had done it years ago.

Been running Rocket Rons for all of the Yorkshire summer series but alternated last winter between those and Challenge Limus for when it gets too muddy. Rons now worn out so going for Griffos next and have been down as low as 20psi without problems on the Rons and the Limus I dont take notice of what it says on the tyre just experiment http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCEPc-uReis this is what most races have been like this year

Just rethinking Malton may be easier to get to by train from leeds and if just fire and minor roads it could be done with the cross bike rather than the mtb.

Not too fussy about tech just a nice evening ride after work waking up the next morning by the sea. Just riding no time pressures just enjoying being outdoors with a twist at the end.

I have been known to combine a friday night ride round shipley and baildon to end at the brewery for a few then wobble along the tow path back home to Rawdon I used them for my brothers stag weekend refreshments at Lumley Fee near Brigsteer.

25 years on since I last did it and it was as tough!Did the 100 in just under 6 hrs nearly took the 50 route from the refreshment stop but the guy I was riding with from Holme Valley Wheelers asked if I was ready to go so decision made for me. I purposely rode at the front to miss the bottle neck at the first climb. At the last checkpoint the marshals reckoned we were in the top 15. A great day out and big thanks to the organizers. Riders I came across were all very friendly. I’m not leaving it 25 years to do the next.

That is definitely taking the piss they ordered what they thought they needed not you so no way should the extra bits be down to you howdens may have messed up telling customer what he needed to order or delivered short.

Im reading it customer asks to use bs account to order doors customer goes to Howdens to order door without bs present cos bs doesnt know what doors they got, bs invoices cust for work plus doors cust realises no handles and catches for doors so goes to howdens as before to get some as prob cheaper than diy shed. Cust being a knob and not paying is not on as he didnt order handles and catches at first transaction customers oversight and should pay.

Record No1 mounted in the garage and a No3 I bought my Dad, then when he died I got it from the garage with the rest of his tools when we cleared it both made in England and yes they are quality compared with the tosh they get at work each time we break them.

years ago you used to be able to get a replacement licence on trust that you had actually lost your original then use one for points and the other for showing.Happy days.

stavromuller Broughton is definately not “city” Shoggs being waste land close to the city makes it more urban/city I was at Rapha and thought it a little lacking in atmosphere apart from the novice race around the tequila shortcut. As for citycross every race had the crowd cheering and the compactness of the area made it a really good vibe.

I guess I need the road version for a 68mm bb shell then and will just need to fit appropriate spacers that hope suggest as the GXP one doesnt need any spacers.
