Have had a Ragley Piglet X9 18″ for a few months now.
Love the bike. I already have a Blue pig. The slightly steeper head angle and shorter fork makes it feel a little bit more XC. I live in North Yorkshire and have ridden the bike in the Lakes, Dales, trail centres and local routes. At £260/270 for a frame its a fantastic price. It a no fuss, strong comfortable (curved seat stays) steel MTB.

“Sheets with your blanket” and your wings get you the birds. Classic. The old footage of the Lancs was beautiful. My Grandfather was a rear gunner in Lancasters and his stories were amazing.

Out the box 18″ Piglet X9.
Great bike. 27.1lbs without pedals out of the box. Wide bars, short stem. Good kit and wheels with sealed bearings 🙂

Domino, it was a fantastic trip with the weather giving it a real adventure feel. The Hostel was good if not a little cold. We where the only ones staying so the heating was not on 🙁 Look forward to a warm trip next year.

Hi. Stuart from the Bicycle Shop in Skipton. We will keep an eye out for you. If you have some mates then cruz around in your car. Jedi and the guys down south just got back all 4 bikes stolen on Monday just by spreading the word and driving around. Good luck and sorry to hear the bad news.

Jamie, i did a 117mile road ride on Sunday. Lots of pasta the night before. For the ride, lots of water with some electrolyte tablets (It was hot and i worked hard/sweat loads. Didnt want to cramp after 7hours) Soreen loaf and peanut butter/jam rolls. Plus Haribo in my back pocket.

May he now rest in peace. My dad passed away 18 months ago. he was 64. I was holding his hand and talking to him when he died. A big big life experience. Think of the good times, i have pictures of him riding his Triumph 750 motorbike in a frame, i have his leather wallet. It will be hard but all the advise given to you is right, keep busy, talk, off load do what you need to do. Are you a cyclist? i rode my bike alot and gave myself some time and space to reflect and think. It helped me.
I hope it gets easier with time.

I wanted to take the bulk not the weight out of my rucksack.
Tent Terra Nova Photon Elite 690g.
    Rab Neutrino bag 580g
Bracket 610g. soo all very light.
Test ride showed no interferance with steering and no weight issues. Strap around stem kept everything still and secure. Tent bag needs a bit of work as it flapped around at speed. Really pleased.
I tried the bungy strap thing but it creased my brake/gear cables and effected steering.
All strapped to a Ragley TD1/RC31 forks.

I used some reflector brackets X2 (30.9 size). a slate wall shelf (clear plastic. Some metal P clips for mudguards hammered flat, nuts and bolts to fit and toe straps to strap everything together. Cut holes in the plastic with drill bit then using a small round file cut from hole to hole to form a slit for strap to run through.
The link will show you some more photos. Do not have any scales at home but it weighs bugger all.
Will be testing it this weekend on a bivvy trip so will update with a success story or failure. 🙂
The plastic reflector bracket are not strong enough to support too much weight. it bobbed up and down but you will notice a strap through the plastic and around the stem which stops any bobbing.
    Hope this helps.
    Stu.
