Thanks Wiredchops, Gil & his crew of most willing helpers have already put massive effort and time into trying to make sure “everbody” racer,fun rider,drinker, families, little lads & lasses etc etc have a brilliant time. They have covered everthing as best they can . It will be a good event for all, I promise you that.

Haddock; fit speed kings !!! 4 of my crew rode on them last night when i was on some budget crap but they had half decent tread and guess what the speed king boys had several ground arse interface moments but it makes for an interesting ride. Not to mention the post ride pub piss take…

I dont suppose you or any of your mtbi’n mates would be interested in marshalling for SSUK09 at Dalby ? We are running it this year and we are looking for voulenteers to assist.

Haddock Its been mint dry,fast & dusty for last 3 weeks, however I was up there last night and its already getting muddy & cut up. The local donky club have been up the sinnington trail and cut it up a bit. Moors and rosedale singletrack are ok and will soon dry up if it doesn’t rain all week. If it rains all week it will no doubt turn to good old mudville as normal.

Dalby ? Hi ermmm……… to be quite frank we ride all the dalby trails on rigid single speeds and whilst your mates are on full susser’s and will have an advantage on the DH sections you will not be far behind and there are several brilliant hard climbs to allow you to watch them struggle anyway. Just do it !!!!!! you might just surprise yourself .

SSUK09 as with the first hill climb on race day, things need to be taken slowly. Gil and his SS crew have everything in place and once F.E have agreed to the large amounts of beer required being delivered into Dalby things will begin to follow.
