I bought a 2001 206 mint tidy looking low milage (46,000) job for the boy. It has had several problems in just over a year and halfs ownership. Replacement parts so far…coil pack,front suspension unit,cat required welding up,air bag sensors, key transponder unit (for the alarm system). Nothing of major expense just little niggles. The leg room in the back is tight.

The north is anywhere north of the midlands.
Our intergrated culture in the north is second to none, we have sheep,cows,chickens,ducks, pigs and larmas.
Socially in the north we have bingo,pornshops and bar brawls (females normally) so sorry but the north wins again :wink:

So after 7 pages we can confirm it is better living up North. Thank you and good night, time to go for a couple of pints of real beer and check out the fat girls.

+1 been up there many many times, even on day trips (8hr round trip) Scotish singletrack climbs at their very best.

Its BRILLIANT up north. Out the back door on to singletrack direct to even more moorland singletrack and then home run via Dalby Forest. Lunch and pint on the way back…..Eeee by ek I love North Yorkshire 8)

I am cyclist first and I agree its all good, but I do spend most of my time off road (single speed) I use the term mtb'er on here as this is an MTB forum. The gravy is in the post.

I went to Londinium last year the beer in the Lock Tavern was good, the food was excellent and I rode around our capital on my bike. The north is just a better place to live if your a mtb'er.

Yep and as I live up north….I have just ridden 20 miles of pure moorland singletrack,come home to my cheap house had a shower, popped out for a couple of pints of proper beer and there's a big lass giving me the eye. Might cost me a bag of chips but heh….. life's brilliant up north.

Hang on a minute 40k divided by 7.5k per lap equals 5.3 laps. Therefore the cocktail bar must be .3 of a lap away from the RACE course for obvious H & S. Looks like we only have to do 2.25k to get to the drinking bit YAHOO.
