I have. Soma Sparrow bars, SS and 26″ Conti cross tyres. Not yet swapped the forks. I was thinking of going with a set of 700c wheels and fork, but have yet to check the geometry with a spare set if forks I have. Finding 26″ cross tyres is not easy. Conti wire been was the only option I could source.

Had never heard of sparrow bars, look interesting !
Mine is 26″ and have some conti cross tyres, all i need now is some midge bars and some bb7`s and should be good to go ….. not sure how short a stem to go with ?

Akira – hadn’t spotted that it was a single ringer, cheers. I think I was drawn in by the colour…
If the Arkose 3 had been available in that green, I probably would have gone for one.

    ….as shallow as that sounds.

Pretty much the same here, love the green but not really taken by the silver although will end up ordering one sooner than later

I have an older thule rack and its awesome , rock solid at all speeds ! , carries 3 bikes with the adapter, its Big, its heavy but a pleasure to use, one handed tilt action with all bikes attached …
Usually only carries 1 bike now as my lads don’t ride anymore, so bit of a waste really :(

We used to use either Reynolds or Ceeways for columbus tubing for either lugged or tig welded frame sets, Ceeways site is crap at best !!
As you have now have your oxy setup, i assume you are in need of lugged tube sets or are you going for a bit of fillet brazing ??
forgot about Haden components as well, not sure if they are still around?
