Felt pretty helpless seeing him bleed so much ! … did first suggest him staying on the roof while i fetched help but i reckon by the time help had arrived on the roof he would of bled to death ! , so decided to walk /run down the stairs instead,good job really

its a bit damp in places but what a lovely day to get out

Commuted 22 miles each way on a 07 plate Honda Varadero for 2 years, great bike and big for a 125cc 😀 … some decent road presence which is what you need, mine was more than happy at 60 mph on the A roads and still averaged over 90 mpg 😯 .. best it ever did was 110 mpg doing a coast to coast ride with all my camping gear ….. Loved the bike and wouldn’t hesitate having another

Where abouts are you ? …. Know a few lads at work that would of done this for a fair bit less ! …
guess the guys just charging you the hr but even so its an easy job and more than doable by ur average bike mechanic !

As Stoner has already said, probably a sticking pin, easy to rectify if u have to change the pin which isnt often …. a nice tap and usually it comes free

I did a second Master’s degree at 26 and most recently a City and Guilds diploma in Plumbing Studies finishing last summer after two years of 2 days a week evening classes at the age of 37. Im not sure if I will ever get to complete my NVQ but as and when I have the time I can drop on to do another course. Im due to do my water regulations and unvented certificates in the coming months. It’s more for personal development than any real commercial reasons, but it’s always worth getting out of your comfort zone now and then for the challenge.

Funny you should say that stoner as thats what im looking at 🙂 …. I already have my water Regs and my vented/unvented certs for 5 yrs , just need a proper plumbing and heating qualification.
Hoping to chat with my top gaffer about it on Monday as all being well work will approve the finance 🙂

ilfracombe to Plymouth ? .. which is the classic devon c2c .. 102 miles almost all on sustrans route and almost 70 odd miles of flat riding ..
have been looking at doing it myself over 2 days or a 3 day double
