@ jameso … any small green or blue frames/forks coming in ? .. love my 2014 arkose 3 but need/want a brighter frame .. the grey is duller than a dull thing !
would of waited a few weeks if id known the new range was going to be brighter !

@ crankboy … You can’t send pictures via txt messages without being in pay as u go credit !!
Another reason I left

You need credit ie… Pay as u go credit to use your phone abroad as it’s not covered by the goody bags and it wasn’t cheap !
Got fed up with crap connections on giffgaff and so moved to 3 which seems better so far but only time will tell ?

Haven’t done loads of off-road the odd bridle way or canal towpath but seems ok to me but I’ve got nothing to compare it to ,seems a little higher at the front than my road bike on the road but not drastically 🙂

Heres mine. Just come out of oven. Cotic Soul bought from here…stripped and coated by me…i’m calling the colour Sagan Green!!! Gonna build up as winter bike..just needs stickering up.

I used to spray frames in front of the same type of water based extraction booths 🙂
Brings back some happy memories 🙂

Have a Arkose 3 myself and it’s all I seem to ride at the minute.
Very capable bike ,great on the road and down the canals 🙂

Have ACO drain channels on my drive and all i do is lift the grilles and they pop out the concrete channel, clean channel out and pop grilles back into channel

I’d go with above and put a nut on the back and sort something when u get back

The roads are poor at best !! …. some roads are virtually dirt, more like bobs road !
A good ride out from fethiye would be to the top of bagada mountain , awesome views from the top, get to watch all the para gliders throw them selves off the top while having a coffee and then hurtle back down the mountain …

as above , was there a few weeks ago and there’s no way id road ride out there !!
bloody mad drivers with no road rules at all , anything goes by the look of it !

Baby Vara is a big 125, good presence on the road and more than happy at 60+ mph on my commute every day even through the winter ! … Bike did show signs of corrosion at the end of the winter,mostly over the front of the engine and gearbox covers from the salt though 🙁
sadly now sold as we bought a new car, but id get another tomorrow if i could afford it.

Have to say Varadero all the way, had mine for a few years , even doing some touring on it,Bike was awesome in all ways including 90+ a gallon on my commute …. and its a very big bike for a 125 cc

Ive got the arkose 3, the one above it and im well impressed with it …. just wish the frame was a better color than bland silver ! … love the green on the 2 !

Just got myself a 2014 pinnacle arkose 3, as above but this years 105 parts with BB7 sl`s .. down to £900 at the mo

Have just got myself a pinnacle arkose 3, down from 1k to £900 … very impressed so far … Would of preferred a brighter colour as arkose 2 above but hey ho !

I tend to get pins and needles in my feet if i ride mtb pedals and shoes and so when possible always ride road pedals an shoes on the longer rides

I’d be interested in views on this route as well as it’s on my to do list :))

Id say alot depends on your job as well ? …. if your sat behind a desk all day then id say yeah its ok to commute.
I occasionally ride the 21 miles to work, but im in a manual job as part of maintenance team at a big university and so always on the go and at the end of the day totally knackered and the last thing i need is 20 odd miles on the bike !

I`d be over the moon if i looked that svelte and trim on my road bike ! .. ive alot more fuel tank than the chap above 😀

Apart from snapping a seat post clean in half , ive had great service and good products from on one/planet x ….. a 853 Inbred and 2 scandals in the shed show im happy to support them ….. next road bike will be a planet x as well

We have a Roth bar 3 with seperate sub woofer and Bluetooth and so play the phones through it as well 🙂
Excellent sound with lots of bass if needed
Connects to tv through optical audio lead which is included in box
Got ours through richer sounds around the £180 mark

Surprised no one has mentioned the pinnacle Arkose range of cross bikes from evans ?
Great spec and price and good reviews in the mags and on here 🙂
Haven’t got one myself but on the verge of hitting the buy button as they seem so versatile
