Im ur sort of weight and like the sound of these except the price ! , being thinking about running a cheaper/heavier set of 29er wheels instead

a bridge over a bridge over a bridge over a canal !

Liking the sound of this, 29er wheels seem a cheaper option at the minute , rather than cx wheels 🙂 .. guessing as long as the spacings correct and the rim isnt too wide then there shouldnt be an issue 🙂

Arh never thought about axle spacing , good call , if it helps its a 2014 pinnacle 3 ? .. thought they were 135mm rear etc .. cant cheak at the mo

Always have a lock through the bikes and rack locked to the towbar mount when on the motorway, just in case it comes off at speed !

Not this year as working nights so will be at work while the lads are getting wankered down the pub !

Funny this as myself ,wife and pregnant daughter were in Mothercare today to get our first grand child’s push chair, lots of choice and prices .. some well over 1k !!
Very impressed with their own range of transport systems ! .. all done for £200
pram pushchair car seat etc all rolled into one

I ordered the WiFi version last week from a authorised resellers shop on eBay this week as too many fakes around, Bought mine for my snorkelling and diving trip to Egypt in a few weeks 🙂 .. the reviews look quite good .

Did a 4 day week for over 12 years … bloody loved having Fridays off 🙂 .. still full time hrs but over 4 rather than 5 days … in a different job now and hate doing a full week … But as from Friday i start shifts including nights but it does mean i only work a 3.5 day week ! .. and a 25% increase in money … gonna give it a go and see how i go

Hi Jameso, thanks for getting back to me, i had no idea the bike hadnt got the hole in the crown, yes the bike was reduced to £900 from the 1k price but thought that was a sale price as the others in the range had been reduced as well ? … no mention of reduced price due to not havin certain bits fitted ??
I bought the bike mail order not through a shop, so whats the best way to sort this , can the fork just be posted to me for me to fit or do i have to take it to a shop ?
or even better can you source me a bright green frame/fork in exchange ? 🙂

On a different note I rode the Birmingham Bikeathon yesterday and that was for leukaemia research so hopefully I’ve done a little to help

@ Cookeaa .. Nothing wrong with wanting your bike to look nice ? … surely this is part of the reason we spend so much money on them ?
zip ties will look crap … I had thought about double sided tape as well … may be the only option

Surely then if theres not holes in the crown then the fork is unsuitable for its intended purpose …. ie having mudguards fitted … and if im honest , no good to me !

@Lummox … yeah 2014 arkose 3 .. it has the inserts/boltholes for guards halfway up the fork blade but nothing at the fork crown ??

Thanks but not having unsightly zip ties around the fork legs , will look crap !
Guards are 28-45 if that helps , nice snug fit 🙂
Starting to think the forks are now faulty, not supplied with correct holes etc

I had a very strong bond with a Titus Motolite a few years back, imported the frame direct from the states and built it exactly how i wanted it, it was my redundancy prezzie to myself, My Dream bike … But didn’t get time to ride it much as kids and life, new job got in the way, sold it through ebay … guy collected it said he cant wait to ride it etc ! … the following week it was in parts on ebay … totally gutted was an understatement ! … i almost cried ……. never again !
Still miss it 🙁

any small green or blue frames/forks coming in ?
Yes we’re ranging frame and fork sets this year – not all colours and aside from the splatter paint SS and Arkose 5 frames I’d need to check – the 3 or 4 I think. May have some 2014 frames in also, we hold onto them for warranty use but generally sell them by the time new model frame spare stock arrives.
