Not a regen issue as such , but when mine does do a regen i lose about 5-7 mpg for that tank ! .. the mpg just plummets ! .. lowest ive seen is 49.7 mpg .. which compared to yours is good

Have 2 sets of Deores and both been brill 🙂
Drops are a different story !

I just mounted mine to the low rider bosses on the middle of the fork , works a treat 🙂
My arkose fork only has mounting holes half way up the leg, weren’t sure if they were for mudguards or low rider mounts , either way it works

I rode the devon coast to coast last year on 23mm , carrying large seatpack and rucksack and my fat arse 95kg , all worked out ok 🙂

@ lambo, i was about to ask the same as looking for a cheap 9 speed chainset 🙂 .. can i get away with one of these ?

What you building Ton ?

I drive a 1.4 diesel Kia Rio with towbar mounted rack, car has averaged 54.5 mpg since new, bikes on the back tend to take about 3-4 mpg off my average at most

Edit .. mine is brim to brim, every mile noted since new , i upload everything to fuelly.com

Those voyagers look ok 🙂 .. rode some 28mm vittorias today and they were a bit skittish , but that could of been the ice on the back roads !

Not sure which way to go yet, gears or ss … i already have a 853 on one SS as well and so may go gears ..

It is a crackin bike,ride it more than any other bike I have now 🙂
Just fitted a rack as well and got some panniers for a spot of touring later in the year as well

Yours may come with the hole in the crown ! … Ive still not bothered to send the forks back and just used thick double sided tape to secure under the crown, seems fine although ive just bought some extra strong velcro stuff to try as well next time 🙂
Thinking of changing the frame/fork anyway as dont like the color !

Im still trying to sort stuff Ton so i can come … kind of been told today im back on my old job end of march 😥 (they advertised the job today)

The views from the top of bagadag mountain are stunning :), we stayed up the hill last year more hisaronu/ovcik … stayed all inclusive, food was very average at hotel and so ate out a fair bit, food was lovley and cheap , main and pudding and a couple of drinks each for myself and the wife , total of £14 .. very cheap to eat out ….. Excursions are dirt cheap out there as well, compared to sharm el sheikh where we were before xmas

Looking at a small green one myself (not in stock) to replace my boring and very grey arkose 3 frame and fork !
