I had one lady who was 25 lessons in and struggling – I took her out and realised the instructor was really, really poor. She dropped him, booked another, did lots with me and passed 6 weeks later….

[/quote]Best idea would be to see what your wife is thinking? Does she feel comfortable, pushed, finding it difficult? You can go and do a bunch of stuff with her too but that is another relationship minefield/test

She said she felt more comfortable in our car, clutch etc
Im not the most patient person but im happy to take her out now and then for some more practice

If they have your size then some of the Giant tcrs are hard to beat spec wise, it may be a lower groupset but its hanging on a quality frame 🙂

The BB width on the PX website is wrong. It’s not 73mm it is a 68 mm bottom bracket shell.

PX customer services confirmed this.

yep i can confirm this as i had the same issue ! … I didnt bother to measure it and just installed BB with spacers etc for a 73mm BB only to find a 5mm gap one side ?

Sold my Thule euro classic last year to someone off here, only sold it as it was a 3 bike and wayy to big for what i need now my son isnt riding with me anymore, amazing rack but quite big ..
got a much smaller 2 bike thule now , basic but fits in the boot if needed

Headset not included, bought the £40 fsa caged bearing one from planet x which was utter junk and an absolute bitch to get the crown race on, so much so i ended up chipping the forks !!!!!
in the end i got a lifeline (sealed bearings) one from wiggle for £19 which is excellent quality

Had my car from new and so im the only person to wash and wax, wouldnt say i love cleaning it but i like to do it very few weeks and do it properly, inside and out, wash , wax and dry etc
Id rather leave it dirty than pay someone else to do it !

I need to get back into painting bikes ! .. we used to charge £60 plus £12 for decals!! … it was early 90`s though , but ive no idea why it would cost you £250 .. thats extortionate , most good powder coaters will do it for around the £40-60 mark
Look somewhere like bob jacksons for £100 or argos cycles at £150 … both alot cheaper than above !

Also had a Pantera with a u-brake fitted ! … worked at a frame builders at the time and so modded the frame to use cantilevers and resprayed it yellow along with my mag 20 rockshox 🙂 .. way before rockshox painted their forks yellow 🙂
