I am currently doing the same job as Stumpy is, with a set of Genetic Digest flared bars. Bike is set up on the turbo trainer, and I’m hopping on and off, adjusting seat rails and bar angle to get it right before the bar tape goes on…

Does anyone use auxiliary levers on their flared bars?
Im using the chicken levers at the minute, ive fitted it all and used an app on my phone to give me a angle on the flare of 25 degrees,Did read that between 25-32 degrees is the sweet spot
havent rode them yet but feels ok around the garden 🙂
Will try next week before adjusting and taping

Don’t get me wrong, always have a nice Christmas Day – it’s all the hype, build up and expectations (not mine!) that bugs me.
Pretty much sums it up for me as well , really really not a christmas person, would happily give the day a miss , but with older kids/adults and a fab grand daughter , it has to be done

I work at the local tip .. Or household recycling center as it says at the front ! … money is utter crap but on the hole i enjoy the job, lots of banter with the customers and occasionally walk away with good stuff even though we are not supposed to ! … Lots of weekend working though so does cut into ur riding plans ….
Our tip is nicely lit up this time of year with all sorts of chrimbo decorations, its even made the news a few times with the light show 🙂
