Failed my HGV driving test in the last 20 seconds !! .. whole test with 1 minor and then i clip a cone on my reverse , 20 seconds from the end ! .. Cock ! … and another £280 for a retest 🙁

gone from very stiff carbon racey frame , to a more relaxed carbon ride with newfangled hydro discs and bolt thru wheels
i did the same, give it a week and you’ll hate it and hanker for your old bike

Its a fun event so no stress , ride as fast or as slow as you feel u need too, there will always be someone slower than you , its usually me 🙂 … suitable for both so take what you got
over the years ive rode it single speed, full suss, hard tail and my crosser last year, doable on all

Rode it last year on my cx bike , id say the perfect bike for the course, cant ride it this year due to work 🙁

While we’re still waiting ! .. thought id share this , passed my HGV theory today with a 95% ,so happy with that BUT failed my hazard perception 🙁 .. have to wait till middle of next month now to do it again

was in lanza all this week , staying in costa teguise, they have a fair few bike shops that do organised rides etc, bit gutted i didnt get out on one, ill take my cycling gear next time im out there as plenty of roadies around

Few months ago got an Arkose three 2016 model and its became my commuting machine. Picked up some p45 chromoplastic guards and while I’ve got the back one fitted okay the front bolt isn’t long enough to do through the fork.
Any recommendations for bolt size to use? I’m a bit rubbish with this stuff.

Just get urself on eBay and order some longer bolts ,loads of places do them for pennies

Have you considered a stem with a bit of rise instead of a new frame though

yeah ive tried a few different stems, think the frame is just too racy and low at the front end, just not happy riding it which is a shame as i love the look of it 🙁 … its done less than 300 miles so its immaculate !
